Neither, they are both very overrated. Any other video game charecter beats both of them.

I like mario. I think Mario is the ultimate original video game character! I mean look how old he is and he's still popular!

I don't think Sonic is that popular to most people these days.

I think in a fight though Sonic would win cause he is super fast. However, if Mario got the Fire Flower, he could spit fireballs at Sonic and probably kill him. Also, if he became Big Mario, he could easily stomp on Sonic. But, Sonic is fast, so he might be able to run away from Big Mario, unless he gets trapped. So who know s who would win!!

I would have to say I like Mario better. No real reason other than Super Mario Bros 1 was the first game I really enjoyed and got into as a kid.

I didn't grow up with Sonic. Neither did I with Mario, but I started playing his games when I were 4. I liked his games. Unlike other series, Mario has great new games! Many too!
