Please can we have an edit post button? It's really annoying to have a small typo muck up a post. Just put it below your post counts, there's plenty of space there and I'm sure most wouldn't mind it being there! Or is there already a way to do this that I jusy don't know about(I'm knew, so I'm still working most of this out)?

The Administrators will come up with this reason: If you want to spell check, get Mozilla Firefox and it does it for you.

Don't know their reasons, but if they're affraid users will edit their posts to get rid of evidence, some sections could have it anyway cause they don't attract that kind of atention

It's easy to make a typo at Programming Help per example, and it can ruin the whole code or concept you're trying to explain

But the thing is it could take up space and really, it may not look good, so I think this feature is not really good.

It doesn't matter how looks, the bottom line is, players would purposely edit their posts to to get more AP

@ fst6
If they do add it maybe they should give you like a 30 sec. time limit so that you couldn't edit posts from way back when.

I would really like this feature. Because I accidently spelled a word wrong and someone called me "unedumacated" *_*
Or maybe a spell check feature? That would be nice.

Spell check wouldn't solve logic problems

They have been saying this for years. They also said there is life on the dwarf planet Ceres. I hope there could be life but it is highly unlikely due to the conditions on the other planets.

This statement does not make sense.

Edit and preview are features that might be implemented later on. The administration is aware that people want it. But there's a bunch of stuff being fixed on the site atm, so it will be quite a while.

Previewing is likely to be implemented eventually, though.

I'm locking this, because the issue has already been discussed a lot, and there isn't really more to say.
