As for gettting a computer, some can not afford it and use it only for work. And if you get a seperate one, again, the cost could play a factor and space is a factor too.

So thats why people get consoles instead of gaming computers..... sometimes.

As for saying there are more games for it, idk if thats true.
Personally, i buy a cheap computer to just do my work, keep my files, and talk to people. Nothing much, since i keep a lot of stuff in my computer. I keep my console seperate cuz i like to sit in a couch and play with my local friends.

Now that's just not true. People who have had an Xbox 360 for a long time must have come across the "Red Rings of Death" before.But other than that, it is pretty impressive.

Most people already have a sub-average computer that only requires about $300 to bring up and past a ps3 graphical levels.

You could do exactly the same thing with a computer. I don't understand the wall you are creating between gaming pc's and consoles when a console is just an outdated gaming only pc. Yes there are more games for pc's than xbox 360 I don't think I need to prove that.
