I was arguing with my best buddy today about it. I consider that "Learn To Fly" is waaay easier, and does not need much attention. I seek difficulty in games, I like to beat them as a principle, as a core of my geekness. "Pirate launch" has lesser achievement and upgrade options. "Pirate launch" clouds are not making funny faces. But game needs your attention, control, grip. Getting to the end of level in "Learn to fly" could be done with eyes closed. Just go in wawes left right left right left right with amplitude needed. Whole process is boring. Nothing differs, nothing happens. You just fly, listening to boring music.
Learn to Fly - Has almost no skill needed. Just, hit the water just right so you bounce higher, use the rockets, and get the acheivements. Get the money from them, upgrade, get to the next ramp. Not to hard.
Pirate Launch - Mostly everything depended on luck, whether you'd hit a whale, or land. Only a wincy bit amount of skill is required in this game. The upgrades were all pretty basic, and doing flips would give you money, so what you could do was launch yourself as high as possible and do 3-5 flips, land it and than kill yourself.
My vote - Pirate Launch - It may not be to difficult, just keep yourself afloat and hope you get to the treasure, but if you hit a whale, it makes you start to flip and you have to keep yourself balanced, whereas Learn to Fly just had keep yourself angled up a little bit, hit the water just right, repeat.
i like learn to fly best, but pirate launch is definantly way harder to beat! The upgrades in learn to fly are fun, and the idea is unique. They are both very fun!
Pirate Launch, its orig! EVERY SINGLE TYPE OF THESE GAMES HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH FLYING!

Although Pirate, boat, it may have flying in it, but, it's not about flying, its about Trying To Get Treasure on a Island, and you use boats to get there.
Learn to Fly is better than Pirate Launch in my opinion, It's better in both graphics and achievements. The upgrades are awesome and when you first play it's just hilarious.
The silly thing is, is that both of games were looking for sponsors at close to the same time. Learn to Fly got one right away, while Pirate Launch took about a month. Then another 2 weeks or reformatting the game.
Anybody saying Pirate Launch is a rip off because it came out later, that's not true. If anything Pirate was made as a tribute to Kitty Cannon.
