assasins creed 2 for sure, i thought it was already out though, guess mt sources were wrong :P

Assasins Creed 2 will be cool. It is supposed to be coming out November 17.

Modern Warfare 2. The success of the first Modern Warfare game and World at War made gamers feel very impatient when they heard about MW2

Definitely the second Assassins Creed game. MW2 will be more of the same from infinity ward - they make quality products.. but it is kind of the *same* product. As for L4D2, they could have just done a DLC pack or expansion - from what I've seen, there's very little *new* in it.

AC2 will likely have very similar gameplay to the first, but out of the three I think it's the most likely to benefit from a change of venue, it's in a different time period, and the story will likely be a welcome addition; whereas the story in the other two will be minimal at best I would think.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 I already have the Collector's Edition pre-ordered for PS3 and 360

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 was a great hit. I'm sure 2 will be even better, hopefully it goes onto the Nintendo DS ~

They'll probably make a port a few months after release like they did with CoD4 and the other CoDs.

Fallout: New Vegas...comes out like next year though.

I will tell you this. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the best shooter I have played (don't say "it hasn't come out". I played the demo at E3). It does justice to the awesomeness of the first, and it is worth waiting for. I have it pre-ordered.

Borderlands will definitely be the highlight of incoming games this year. If you don't know what it is, its definitely worth looking up.
