Wouldn't the PC be better because of the gameing facilities?
Or would the Nintendo Wii because of the wireless needs?

Choose and reply.

Thank you

Video gaming itself began with computers.

A PC is much more powerful than the Wii. The mouse and keyboard also suits me well and I generally like the game selection for the PC.

So, I'd prefer a good PC.

Well it all depends on what you like doing. If you like to play serious games, then I think the PC is better, but for family gaming the Wii.

They were going to make the Wii black before it even came out, they were also going to make it in Red, Blue, Green. But they never did. Although it has been confirmed, who will want to buy a Black Wii, when we already have the White Wii. It's what we grown to know

I'd prefer the PC. Like you said, it has better gaming and I wouldn't want to risk breaking an object while moving around to play the Wii.

Why do people keep making -insert console name here- vs. Wii threads? I saw a PS3 one before this and it's kind of obvious everything but the 360 is superior to the Wii.

Depends on how good the pc is, hardcore gaming pc costs around 1000-1500 euro a wii just costs 300 euro's
but with a PC you can do much more stuff (for example AG)

Also something else. We can't compare consoles to computers. Because inside a console is a computer. All the parts, processor, a flash or hard drive, usb ports. its basically a computer itself

There are cons and pros about a PC. First, you need equipments to build up a functional PC. Around 300 Dollars? I don't think a Wii would cost that much. But on the other hand, a PC has more games, and internet connection. Even better, it has this thread.

Only if you build it yourself with NEAR top of the line parts. If you have it custom built by a company with top of the line parts it can exceed 10000 USD.

They do make black PC cases you know.

That's the case I currently use.

I'd side with PC; I use my PC as a PVR and a gaming rig and a work machine and for social networking/email/IM/internet so... it offers more then I can get from any console by a long shot, and those that consoles can also do, my PC does them better. The unique gameplay offered in the Wii however, is not to be found elsewhere. It's not about the wireless needs either - I have a TV remote for the media center stuff, a wireless keyboard & mouse so I can surf from my couch, and I have a wireless 360 controller in case I'm playing anything I prefer to use a gamepad for. None of them offer the motion sensitive gameplay stuff though.

Maybe everyone knows about this but thought I'd point it out just in case....

Very useful for people like me who don't own a TV. If you want to plug your Wii into your PC monitor instead, the Vdigi VD-W2 is a good option. I bought mine from vdigi.com, cost about £25 or something. It seems pretty well built and works a treat. Only complaint is the blindingly bright blue LED it has on it. Also can't play Gamecube games, which is annoying, and a few wii games don't support the higher resolution either.

Thought I'd let you all know anyway... took me ages to track down what I was looking for.
