-Balanced classes (doesnt have to be many) -loads of different equip -a Pet system (Pets which help you in PvE, like they heal you for 10HP every 5 secs or something/They gain skills with lvl ups) -A fun PvP-system (Dragonica PvP for example) -Many Quests -various skills -a nice environment -hard bosses -no bugs (lol wont ever happen >_<
Flag a good MMO needs: -Balanced classes (doesnt have to be many) -loads of different equip -a Pet system (Pets which help you in PvE, like they heal you for 10HP every 5 secs or something/They gain skills with lvl ups) -A fun PvP-system (Dragonica PvP for example) -Many Quests -various skills -a nice environment -hard bosses -no bugs (lol wont ever happen >_< And ofcourse - a good community ^^
Took the words right out of my mouth.
But I like to add: have a good connection speed. The game can only be as great as your internet speed. Playing a MMO if you have a crappy connection then don't bother playing unless you like being disconnected every 5 minutes from all the lag.
Wow is level grinding like preschool was mentally challanging. WOW was made for the non MMO gammer. If you want to play a real game, play EVE, Liniage, or EverQuest 2
I must say that the topic isn't correct.kozaman11 asked what makes a good MMO(Massive Multiplayer Online)but he didn't say RPG(Role Playing Game, and WoW is a RPG).So,why do people post things about classes, quests, and bosses.
I think the most important part of any MMO is making you feel like you're not grinding endlessly. I mean, you always are - but it's the delusion that you're doing *something* other then the same thing over and over again.
