Tell me what do you think about Fallout 3 and why, also if you've played the other Fallout games. I personally hate it, it brought a lot of shame to the series. No top-down RPG, just a FPS with a little bit of RPG. Some of you may tell me I'm a hardcore player, and they're right. I've only played Fallout 2, finished it, and loved it. It's very rewarding to blow someone's head off with a Gauss Rifle or electrocute them with a Pulse Rifle. Also it's graphics were very fit for the game, and the music was good too.
I have played the first one and number 3. I'm inclined to say FO3 was more enjoyable but mainly because I hate the click and move controls. I prefer to control my character with the arrow keys or a joystick.

Hardcore? Hardly. You've never even played the first game. How can you say Fallout 3 brought 'shame' to the series, when you've only played one of the other games in the series.
I thought Fallout 3 was decent. I have preference for the 1st and 2nd Fallout games; I didn't care much for Fallout Tactics as it tossed the roleplaying & adventure elements to purely focus on turn based combat.
Fallout 3 was very similar to many of the other Bethesda RPG titles - Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion; it makes sense that they would stick to what they know, and they do it well.
You have a point there KlinH4xx0r... Many Fallout fans where disappointed after seeing how Fallout 3 looks like. Fallout 3 is great, but he just isn't the same as Fallout 1 and 2.
