Best DS game ever! Unles they make an Elder ScrollsS that would be so freakin' awesome.

Get a "Tales of" game, because they have pretty good graphics even for DS, and the battle system is amazing, oh and it is an RPG

Kirby, if you're into the cuteness and childish looks. (And very nice gameplay)
Pokemon, if you just need some entertainment that lasts very long.

The World Ends With You, it is officially the best game for the DS it's absolutely amazing. Phantom Hourglass is also a great game.

I highly recommend you get Moon. It's the best FPS I've ever played on the DS. Other than that, there's Phantom Hourglass, MarioKart DS, FFXII: Revenant Wings, Lock's Quest, or any of the Pokemon games.
