So, since my last competition was pretty much a discussion, I'll now close that and move over to this general colony discussion (the others are all specific)
TALK ABOUT ANYTHING RELATED TO COLONY (and beef burgers)
We're going through a rough patch right now with Colony. But now I'm focused on a new RPG game (hopefully with multiplayer as well) and by then I hope we will have SmartFox setup. I'll be giving Colony a major overhaul when that time comes
What is going on today!? The game's glitching up, the games are lagging like 1,000 times slower than usual, and it keeps saying that it's full, then works the second time and nobody's on!? What's wrong!?!!!!!?????
If you have been kick when you didnt hack it is because you are a noob who relies on spamming one unit. I played a few games today and havent gotten kicked the reason is I know how to play. Spamming units lets the enemy know what to use to counter with.
Yos you are quite incorrect. The kicking of players due to "suspicion of hacking" is NOT due to spamming a single unit. It is caused by a combination of server lag and individual lag. Lag is caused by an excess of units in each game. Spamming units makes the game work harder by increasing the number of images to render. Yet, you don't need to be making units to get kicked, as I have been 4 times now. You can be kicked while upgrading multiple buildings at a time as well.
And to say that people who spam a single unit are noobs is retarded. Do a CW as a ground'er and let's see which units you spam to start the game. Hovers.
