gears of war 2 was the second 360game i got. i like tht game cuz... 1. the story line is amazing. 2. if u didn't play gow1 u can get an idea about whats it about. 3. insane mode is insane! 4. good variety of weapons. 5.the graphics are great! 6 voice acting is good. 7. so many ways to kill other ppl 8.the easter egg in one of the levels with the toaster lol. i accident'y shot the stone and found it.i didn't know gow2 could be funny. 9.its a bit of a action, shooting... it has some sad parts...1 comdey part...no cheatcodes! 10.there is no 10
Well, I like it a lot, but there are some things I didn't like about it.
1. The story was not very good. 2. The dialogue sounded fresh out of a seventh graders notebook. 3. The game is extremely gratuitous, I didn't mind the violence but it seemed like that was the only thing the game could do really well. 4. It seemed like swear words were the most complicated words in the character's vocabulary.
There are mostly good things, but the things above are what make the game miss at its shot at perfection.
Don't really like it at all, story mode was ok if you had somebody to play with and the online multiplayer was boring to me, i don't like to wait after i die everytime
I actually really liked it. And that's saying something since I usually hate shooting games. I found the story quite good and the dialogue, though immature, absolutely hilarious! I'm such a Gears fan now I NEED to buy the replica Lancer and that snazzy new Gears themed Zune. Not to mention the Gears shoes. XD
Honestly I like the first one since the single player and co-op was pretty solid, but the second was a huge let down for me in that area. The single player felt less like a tactical shooter, and more Mass Effect style combat, where enemies take forever to kill, and have weapons that make it impossible to stay behind cover for too long taking the tactics out of it, and making it more about running around chainsawing everyone. The multiplayer for me has always been annoying...I really don't know how to describe it, but I just never really liked the multiplayer. No matter what game more your on the way you play the game feels exactly the same every time, and so its probably the most repetitive feeling out of a majority of the popular multiplayer games I have played.
i liked it , i found the campaign worked better , the enemies killed you faster than the original gears but had less health to compensate ( on gears 1 they could sometimes take 2 direct headshots and a lancer would take well over 120+ rounds to kill a locust drone). i didnt really bother with multiplayer but it was better than gears 1 multiplayer. i enjoyed horde mode a lot , hiding in a barn on river at wave lvl 50 with 4 ppl can get pretty hectic and exciting. i found it was better than gears 1 in almost every way ( but raam was a much better boss than scourge)
in general it was one of my top 5 favoruite games i also liked the cover system as it was a change from some of the more traditional shooters such as cod or halo
I personally down, i do love the gore and it does have a decent story, but i dont really like either of the gears games. not saying OMG these games are horrible and should die, cause they arnt horrible. i just dont like them
It's a tactical third person shooter with a uniquely complex cover system and gratuitous gameplay. In other words, it's one of the most violent games out there. However, it's a very good game, and if you're into shooters check it out.
