Apparently, a guy named David Kiersey invented this real scientific of dividing all the worlds people into 4 different personality. The 4 groups (Guardians, Idealists, Artisans, and Rationals) each have different attitudes towards situations. A concrete personality believes in staying in reality, and thinks mainly about whats real. A, abstract personality, however, thinks about idea, theories, and the future. A utilitarian person will, in a conflict, do whatever works, regardless of the consequences to theirselves or the people around them. However, a cooperator always tries to do what's right and just, even if it means not completing their initial objectives. Here's where all the groups sit with the personalities:
Guardians: The Concrete Cooperators, Guardians always think in reality and the task at hand, but if the have to choose between whats right and what will work, they'll be willing to give up their hard work in order to do what's right. Many Guardians become soldiers.
Idealists: Idealists are the Abstract Cooperators, and they want to make the world a better place. They constantly try to figure out ways to make things better for humanity, and will always do the right thing. Most Idealists become inventors or scientists.
Artisans: Artisans have a Concrete Utilitarian mindset. They focus on reality, and always want to attain their goals, even if it means bending the rules or making tough tactical choices. Artisans usually have natual talents, so many Artisans become profitable musicians and artists.
Rationals: As Abstract Utilitarians, Rationals want to improve the world in the long, even if it means making enemies and causing controversies today. Rationals make great generals, and presidential advisors.
So, now that I've explained the KTS II, here's a link to it. If you don't have your own email, just make up one. Once you get to the end, click the bottom View Report. All the others cost money.
Coding people into small classes always fails because there are infinite amount of people who are mixes of those classes
Well, this is doesn't concretely say that you must fit here, just that this is most like you. This is government sponsored and official, so I think people who know about social sciences than we do have okayed it.
The Holland Codes are better
Ehh...that's nice to know. Theres no link here, or anything, so you're really just saying this FYI, I guess.
I came up as a Guardian Inspector. It was interesting and seemed to fit me well, but in the same breath I don't always go along with what these personality test have to say.
