The game Frontier is overall good. But I have noticed some glitches, noticeably how one of the party members may glitch often has NaN attack and kills everything instantly, removing the entire challange of the game. I found out this happened when I picked up a person who was injured. Plus it needs more weapons, for say bows, or old types of muskets/ arqubuises would be cool, considering it looks to be a 14th-18th century type of setting.

I didnt think this was a 'glitch' i thaught it was part of the game, its better with this guy dont you think? and if you dont want the guy with NaN just fire him?

Yes, but frontier isnt a very large game to complete, if you wanted things like that there would have to be a frontier 2 wouldnt there, 105k gold? i think thats how much you need to complete. is easy if your good at economics, or you actually have a brain and know how to 'merchant' i completed it in about 20mins, and i olny got up to capturing one of the castle's in one of the guild. not even the highest rank yet
I was writing up a guide for frontier, but i figured whats the point? does anyone actually like this game and think its hard enough for a walkthrough, so i stopped. it is relitivly easy.
Another 'glitch' i have found that is actually worth looking into instead of a guy with NaN attack is that after you have finished a battle and you click go if an opponant is right after the battle you have completed the game freezes, you can still click and everything but it does not go into the battle.
Thats my say on it, but in overall, fun game.
I Agree it is a very fun game, and is in my top 4 games atm :]
Just a quick question: How is my character suppoes to heal himself? The health bar is ridiculous. I travel for weeks without one fight and he still has the same number of hitpoints....
Your guy heals naturualyl overtime. You just got to stay in the cities for a bit. I good strategy for this game, is basically this: You go to a place that has a material, such as bronze, and make sure it has lower prices for buying it, and then once you bought it there, you go to another town, that pays the highest for bronze, and you sell it, and you make a profit.
It's best to get your guy strong in attack/Defence so you wont be robbed, and its good to have at least 1 travel so theives dont rob stuff either.
it's a very fun game, and I know it's hard to make new weapons, However, the ranged weapons would be basically the same format, considering you attack from the same range anyways. But I do see the point that it would need much work, and I persoanlly deem the game a 8.0.
It does have glitches, and when you fire the NaN attack member, your game freeze's. Your game also freeze's when you do qeusts, if you get attacked more then 3 times, you will be frozen.
So, does that mean, that i just have to weit and do nothing, while I#m in the city, so my guys can heal? Can't I skip some days? I think, that's an option, that has to be included.
It's quite effective, but I was just using it as a refrence, not to be specific. However, Bronze is always a low prize in MAxin around that area, and you ussually can find a city that pays high for it.
It's a very ambitious game, and I think it's pretty good for what the guy was aiming to make. It's got glitches here and there (some of them game-ending ones...), but I'm not a game-maker, so I won't bash on that...
The only problem I had with it was not being able to rejoin guilds; I quit after finding the courier one impossible on foot.
I really like this game. I have tried to play in on the level. Meaning that I tried not to cheat by getting the NaN guys on my ship. It was tough. I would hire really good, statistically speaking, and they would turn into the NaN zombies with the flashing weapons. I think I should not pick anyone up.
I really liked the game, but there are still even more glitches.
For instance, during the Enforcer quest in which you have to deliver a package, a massive wave of Buccaneers come at you. If you set your speed to x20, beat the buccaneer, click on GO before it reverts to it's ordinary spot, and run into another buccaneer, the GO button appears again, meaning you can skip that battle.
There is also another where, if you do not arrive at exactly 24 hours, you might not enter a city, and rather you travel forward endlessly...
