Odd topic, but I'll go with it. The German Tiger Tank was an absolute beast; our tanks, the M4 Shermans, were puny in comparison and could only take down a tiger with coordinated rush tactics and flanking maneuvers which was difficult on urban terrain. The Tiger Tank would have to be my favorite.
The Sherman was a good tank, but couldn't hold up against the Tigers. They were to thinly armored in the front and underneath. They also caught fire way to easily. Luckily they had shear numbers to over power the Germans.
Whats the Russian tank again? the TT-V8 or something? My freind was telling me that a photo was taken when one of those was surrounded by 10 dead Panzers.
I have to say the t-34 since I think it was a good all round tank. Plus it had the advantage of being quite manouverable over deep snow rifts etc. perfect for Russian winter fighting.
T-34 Soviet tank crushed alot of tiger tanks, and sherman tanks are terrible you could just get a grenade and throw at it, and it will get destroyed very easily.
[quote]The King Tiger. If germany were to be able to make more like the sherman was made they would have been unstoppable. Its a tank with a huge gun and tons of armor I would have hated to be in a sherman looking at that thing firing at me.
Theres actually a special tactic that the soviets would use to take down the tiger tank. what they would do is form a group of five t-34's, and attempt to run over the tiger tank. Just ask Mikhail Kalashnikov he took down 7tiger tanks with that move, and because slope armor, if the tiger tank hits it in either sides of the t-34 tank it would ricashey of the side of the tank.
