Or not. The silly idea speaks for itself but if you need an explanation:

a) The site is kept simple for a reason; to make it easy to use for kids. Adding more forums/subsections would just ruin the feel.
b) Not enough of a need for something like that, we don't even have a Sports forum and there is more of a demand, so even if they wanted to expand it wouldn't be for a language forum.
c) Mods can't moderate languages they don't know, this would complicate things a lot.

English: If you want to speak Spanish on the site, do it in profile comments.

Espanol: Como estas de hablar de la espanol en armoro gamo, posto en profilo comento por favor.

This would be my main concern, and one of the reasons why we currently discourage threads in other languages. The fact is, many of us simply do not know a lot of languages, and therefor it is more difficult to enforce the rules on such threads.

Yeah, this kind of fall into those topics about 'more forums'. Not on purpose, but it just kinda does.

A sports forum would be great, and you can bet their is a greater demand for it than Spanish, Italian, French etc... forums.

c) Mods can't moderate languages they don't know, this would complicate things a lot.

And I don't see it as fair to make someone a mod just because we want to add the Spanish forum idea, and have to get a Spanish-speaking mod.

Of course, mods could just use Google Translator or something else, but I've noticed that you can get a) 100 different definitions for the word, not helping a lot b) crude and inaccurate answers c) Random jumble of words or weird symbols killing clarity.

The fact is, many of us simply do not know a lot of languages,

Mark me if I'm wrong, but don't all the mods speak only English? Maybe Strop...

Don't abuse it. We know where you live. Muhahahahahahahaha... Yeah, just don't spam or flame with it. It really doesn't help the mods and admins.

I am not getting to the idea that we need one of those... I still think we don't. I am just saying if ever we were to stupidly decide another forum is necessary, it would come to sports before languages...

Not to mention it's a large time waster for mods, taking away from time they could be actually moderating good forums. >_>

Zophia talk Danish too for that obvious reason that she is a Dane.
So technically we could have a Danish section, but that would be a waste of space.
The same with Spanish or German or whatever. Most people know how to speak English because it is a widely accepted international language, some might know Spanish, yes, but it still seems like an necessary thing to have.

Really? That's good to know. So the Strop theory can be dropped.

Considering I have never seen a Danish person here (Except Zoph, which I always missed). Their Forum might be spammed by English users too, because you can bet it would be empty.

It's like Latin for the Romans: The conquered countries could easily communicate with Latin. Except it's English and there are no conquered countries...

an necessary

You mean unnecessary, right? Otherwise your sentence would be contradicting to everything else you said.

Top reason why just about everybody at AG speaks English: It's an English site! Or American, whatever. The site is in English, the games are in English (Except Sonny, they have German too), and the Forum is. Other languages have their own sites, and don't go to AG because of that.

As far as I know we are quite a few, but not really many on the forums itself.

Yeah... I'm sleepy > >

Strop is Australian, and talks English, so yeah.

That depends on how you think about it. Since the computers were developed by Americans and most manuals and most sites are in English, in some way the English language have conquered the world.
