who here likes this game? if you do, could you give me some tips or cheats or anything, because i am like a noob on that game and i am stuggling to survive...so yeah...
Well, all I know is if you kill the psycos in a group, they all chase you. When they do that, and you have like the 2x4, you can easily whipe them all out.
The first one is good lost mine ages ago just recently got number two it is awesome a general improvement other then not being able to take photos of zombies of course
Well.. I dabbled in DR1 before i sold it (save system killed it for me, prolly gonna buy it again bcause of Case: 0)
But I've picked up a few tricks in DR2: Case Zero and the limited time i had with DR1.
1. everything is a weapon, so use it accordingly I'm serious. if you're backed up against a wall w/ zombies bearing down on you, don't hesitate to pick up a bench, and batter your way through to a cafe where you can heal up
2. know where to get food. your map does an excellent job of naming stores where you can acquire certain types of items. (DR helps a guitar revitalize its name as an "axe" Cafe = food/knives, Hunting store = guns, clothing store = clothing, maybe a pole you can use?
3. Save often, but don't be afraid to restart the game. Restarting at a teen level could help you get to some survivors you normally couldnt due to your lack of awesome moves, inventory space, or otherwise.
4. NEVER go into a plot mission w/o firearms. At least 2 pistols, and 3 for DR1. the aiming is a bit off in DR1, fixed in DR2. you might get thrown into a battle against a psychopath, who are your equivalent of bosses, people you do NOT want to **** with unarmed.

Same here even in DR2 the same system is implemented and the bosses are pretty hard. Running around the mall is fun when your being productive in some way but not running to the same boss battle like 10 times.
Also it's a shame you can't really explore too much since your cases will run out of time. Would of love a game in which was less linear and involved more of a base building component.
yeah you and me both darkroot i sometimes just run around and kill zombies but dont save so wen i want to do cases i just need to die and head on over to the place it happens
