my favorite is toon link cause hes not too slow and can still kick ass with his smashes and his up special move is good for getting back on stage and hurting people
i finally mastered all of jiggly puffs moves seriously there is no good ones the only way you can win is if you can master flying AND I DID it and smashed classic xD
The entire concept of playing characters because of mechanics is somewhat alien to me. Sure, I understand liking a game because you enjoy ho it's played (that's what games are about), but it's weird to me that someone could pick up a game not instantly gravitate towards characters he likes for other reasons.
It's even weirder when people pick a character for power. If you do that, shouldn't you play Meta Knight?
My top three characters are, in order: Pichu, Kirby and Solid Snake. Other favs, in no particular order: Samus (I'm better with the Zero Suit), Mr. Game and Watch, Pit, Mewtwo and Luigi. Oh, and random for Brawl. My most played pick by far.
Strangely, I tend to like low-tier characters in melee (Pichu, Kirby, Mewtwo, Mr. Game and Watch) and high tier characters in brawl (Kirby, Snake, Mr. Game and Watch). This is mostly because I play characters I like, as I said above. My one friend's two best characters are Meta Knight and Ganondorf. Talk about favoring extremes...
My favorite: Solid Snake. Not only is he the most bad ass of all the characters there, he's decent in combat, and I do the best with him.
Plus ima hardcore Metal GEar Solid fan (have been since the Original Metal Gear Arcade game came out) And so on. Plus the battle area is epic for him, and the codec messages are classic.
It is hard for some to master his skills. It took me some time to do it.
I cannot play Pikachu in Brawl simply because he is a twisted mockery of Pichu. In melee, I don't dislike Pikachu, but why would I play him when I have Pichu? The only other characters I try to not play are Toon Link (because whoever thought of that name should be ban from the game industry forever) and Lucario (twisted mockery of Mewtwo.).
