There are many, many small things that bother me in the game; there are also some particularly large things that are appealing. I haven't decided which side holds more ground. I don't think I would recommend it at this point, being so divided, but I'm not inclined to bash it either.
While not a gleaming recommendation in either direction, perhaps my indecision will help you decide.
The commercials seem to pass off the game as furiously action packed; the combat however is more of a strategic nature. Pausing the game, selecting abilities, spells, targets, unpausing & watching it happen. It's not a particularly fast game.
