Can you get paid to be a critic?
Like for movies or video games.
If so then exactly how much do they pay or whatever?

You can be paid to review games (usually you will then work for a game magazine) as well as movies, books and so on. You most likely will have a good deal of competition, as it seems like a dream job to get games in the mail, watch them and then write about them.
Exactly how much you get paid, well, I guess that is up to the magazine. Some pay you per article, others might pay per word.

I believe it is a cent per word. Nah just kidding. I don't really know how much they pay you.

Don't think so. An editor is where you proof read someone else's work, checking for gramatical errors and such, whereas a critic simplifies the game/magazine/whatevers' most outstanding qualities, whether it be good or bad. You'd still get paid to be an editor though, if that's what you were wondering...
