You can be paid to review games (usually you will then work for a game magazine) as well as movies, books and so on. You most likely will have a good deal of competition, as it seems like a dream job to get games in the mail, watch them and then write about them. Exactly how much you get paid, well, I guess that is up to the magazine. Some pay you per article, others might pay per word.
Don't think so. An editor is where you proof read someone else's work, checking for gramatical errors and such, whereas a critic simplifies the game/magazine/whatevers' most outstanding qualities, whether it be good or bad. You'd still get paid to be an editor though, if that's what you were wondering...
