My 360 Elite (2 years old) has finally started to get teh red rings... I did the towel thing and it is working (probably for a few weeks) BUT when it stops I have a plan...
When my elite starts to fail again I am going to send it i nto get it repaired... i am going to buy a new xbox and when my old one comes back I am going to return the new one...
My question is 'Can you return an xbox if it's not broken?'
For the new Xbox, you have to return it within a certain number of days (I forget), and they'll give u a full refund, but just ask the person you buy it from
if your buying a new xbox, then you have 90 days to return for full refund, as long as it's not broken or damaged in any way, and you have to keep the receipt, but if you're trying to return your xbox elite that got the RROD, you can't trade it in since it's probably been more than 90 days and it's broken
Hmm. Upon re-reading the original post, it made a lot more sense. I thought you were going to try and return the recently repaired one instead of the new one Nevermind... =P
Wow... i may look for a way to get something for free (which is what I am going to do technically) but I can't do something that will get me money! lol
