i would have to say the gameplay is too much like left 4 dead 1. Its just the same old thing with a few new features and become boring very quickly. Thats just my opinion.

There are a lot more interesting games than left 4 dead. If your fond of playing the same map over and over again and having left 4 dead 3 come out in like 8 months then get it otherwise not.
You also forgot the uncommon infected like the clowns, hazmat suit zombies, mudmen and the riot cops.
Overall it's like the first one. You play it at first and apart from the shit AI making you want to pull your hair out it's awesome. But then you realise how repetative it is. I'm still hoping for a game with hordes of slow zombies, and no special infected or bosses or anything. Just good survival horror. Kind of like the first resident evil... Only good.

(Verses. LOL!) I beg to differ. Sometimes the people online can be real hogs. I once went to the bathroom before I opened the saferoom door, and when I came back, all the med packs were gone. I was like, "Sh*t!"
i think you should i love play the 1st one but i have never played the 2nd one
The game is amazing.there are some funny things that happen(like if you shoot a zombie in the nuts its guts come out).The maps are pretty awesome and it may keep you on your toes if your about to die.so i recommend buying it.P.S.that's not even all of the cool things.
