The campaign is just a mess. *Spoilers* There are so many plot holes I just can't believe it, here are just a FEW of them:
The Story First couple of plot holes is the airport scene. Makerov is a well known international terrorist (essentially the Osama Bin Laden of the day), yet for the airport attack, he doesn't wear a mask. Don't Russian airports have security cameras? I mean honestly, this man is one of the most wanted people on the face of the earth yet no one bothered to look at the security tapes to see him walking around the airport with an M240?
Shepard says that he lost 30,000 men 5 years ago when Al Asad detonated the nuke wiping out the invading troops in his capital city. However, to those of you who don't remember, that was a Marine assault on the city, and Sheppard is an Army General. So, while I can understand him being mad about it, him saying they were his troops isn't true, unless of course he changed service branches and managed to work his way to General in 5 years time.
The Russians have a firm grip on DC, yet the military's plan isn't to launch a strong counter-attack to retake the city, instead they're going to just carpet bomb the crap out of it? How does that make any sense? In doing so they would destroy things such as the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, not to mention the White House and Capitol building.
There are many more I can think of that are smaller, such as when you are in Brazil, and when you chase the guy who shot your driver into the streets, CARS AND EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE! HOW THE HELL? The person has a Desert Eagle! Not a rocket launcher.
The Multiplayer
Infinity Ward really effed with the MP big time. There are some MAJOR balancing issues.
Killstreaks influence camping, especially the nuke and chopper gunner.
Maps are absolutely TERRIBLE, and they influence even more camping because each and every one of them have like 5 doorways to every house, 17 windows, and a million vantage points. Coupled with messed up spawns, this just turns into a random mess where gun fights last half a second with the insane power of every single gun (although assault rifles still beat EVERYTHING).
Care Packages give people AC-130's for 4 kills in S&D. Annoying as hell because the person DID NOT deserve it.
Killstreaks carry over in S&D. This is more of a traditional thing.
Assault rifles are death machines. 0 recoil, extreme power and accuracy. They basically make every other gun useless, especially the SCAR-H and ACR.
Sniping has been ruined because of the assault rifles, witch can essentially do EVERYTHING better than ANY OTHER type of gun.
Some secondary weapons (Model 1887's, PP2000) are rediculous. They have as much power as primary weapons. The 1887's have EXTREMELY INSANE RANGE FOR A SHOTGUN (they may have patched the Akimbo ones, but if you put FMJ on with Akimbo it's range is back to normal!). Terrible!
There is so much more to say, but I will wait for people to reply...
In conclusion, this game is just a noob-friendly mess. IW ignored their actual fanbase, and got greedy. All we wanted was COD4 with the major problems fixed and with better maps, weapons, story, graphics and game modes in general.
Lol. I personally think parts of it are garbage, but online FFA is still fun as hell on some of the maps. If a game on favela, underpass or estate pops up, I usually just leave the lobby and retry.
The worst parts of MW 2 are the double shotgun guys. Akimbo shouldn't be allowed for those, at least the 1887s. I don't get the whining about knife runners - my main class is half run and gun, half kniferunning, and kniferunning is f**king tough to do. ARs are a hell of a lot cheaper.
I really hate the sort of ghostly and invisible box of vulnerable substance that sort of floats around your character allowing anyone to shoot a metre behind you and still manage to do damage.
Also, although I'm not sure if this is true, it seems as long as the crosshair was pointing at your character when a bullet is fired it does not matter where your character moves, he still takes damage. I have watched Kill Cams where people with that over-powered machine gun (ACR?) have fire two bullets, I've proned in the grass and the two bullets still inflicted damage (as I am now watching a Kill Cam) but completely missed.
Thisisnotanalt, people hate run knifers because of lag, (they knife around corners) the care package glitch (holding the marker in your hand without throwing it you run at light speed), and hitboxes failing when they lunge, or sprint at you.
Oh, and Elitemagical, the Killcam doesn't truly show the amount of bullets shot at you either, it is usually 1-2 bullets less than he actually shot.
Thisisnotanalt, this game is the SEQUEL to COD4, so I expected it to be better. Common sense(?).

Well, I guess I have no reason to worry then because I don't do anhy of that stuff xD
Also, I've now switched over to a different setup.
Please, call me Alt.
Sequels aren't usually better, and it'll be nearly impossible to best COD4 in the FPS department.
I understand your logic, but IW made COD4. They had way less technology and resources back then (2 years), Don't you think they should have bested themselves?
I mean, we didn't want all of this crap they packed into the game, we just wanted more maps, weapons, better graphics, more levels to rank up to, perks, but NOT KILLSTREAKS. We wanted to keep the game simple to an extent and keep it balanced and competetive.

Technology isn't what makes a game. Either way, COD4 was one of the best games ever and is not going to be easy to top. IW seems like they outdid themselves with it, and it's hurting them now.

COD4 had killstreak rewards too, just less ones that you couldn't change. The attack helicopter in COD4 was just as bad as the chopper gunners and harriers in MW2. And it was easier to get . . . .
Of course, some killstreaks are a bit too much in MW 2. Pave lows are the most annoying thing to me in MW 2, moreso than even the akimbo 1887s.
I have no idea you didn't have any of that 'stuff', Alt, it happens regularly for me. And I even have a fiberoptic connection.
May just be your luck then. My connection is crappy in comparison to that - if I lived a few miles more out in the country, I'd have to subsist on dial-up. I'm on a 3 megabit DSL N connection.
The Kill Cam even lags? I thought wasting your time was bad enough, not showing me the complete picture is even worse. I've never really like the Kill Cam to be honest, it just seems pretty pointless.
Is the lag on Kill Cam also the cause of me seeing the
