Science fiction doesn't always have to conform to reality. There are also those who often resist change.

Pretty streight forward question. What do you think?

The future will be much worse then you can imagine in books if we don't do something about the world's problems right now.

What do you mean by fake the future?

People always think the world will end up how books portray it, as we will make great new inventions.
I see it though nobody has shown the world if we don't or arn't able to accomplish this. That is what we all now the world to be like, just people don't except it for some reason.

it's easy to come up with something and hard to actually create a working version of it.

I think the futures in books and movies are not supposed to be real.

Yeah I agree with chitown.Some might be trying to predict it though.

Fiction and fact are two different things. Imagination and reality are two different things.

Does that work for you? If not, it's easier to create then it is to build.

thinking of an idea for an invention and making one are much different. i can imagine about 50 great ideas for the future, but i can't just go and make them. It just seems right that real is lagging make-believe

To conceive something, all you have to do is think of it, and make a representation of it. To actually bring form to something, to create it, is much harder to do. We are making progress, though, and perhaps some day we will have flying cars and androids and computer chips to monitor our health. All we can do is wait and see.

Our future is in our hands, whatever we want our future to be, we should do whatever we can to make it real, within limits.
