i guess the "best" one, atleast for me, was watching resident evil 5. while some of the other ones are fun, we had a long weekend off of work and my buddies and I sat through and played it right after it came out. so maybe it wasn't what most consider the best, but the time i had with RE 5 was better than the early ones, with the trainwreck they called "controls."
The controls weren't a train wreck the problem was it was different. People weren't used to it but after a while it was good so i would have to say the best, for me, is the remake of RE1
i think resident evil 2 was the best 4 and 5 was kinda lame i mean if it wasnt for leon and ada being in part 4 i woulda thought it was a total different game
I was actually a huge fan of Resident Evil up until they released the Resident Evil 4, it was a huge disappointment for me, I don't understand why they'd have to go and ruin the series like that.
Anyway the best one in my opinion is the third, the one with nemesis, man that was fun to play, even though it was scary as.
