Ok long story short. I hurt my knee really bad at a soccer game. I got a mri today and the results were bad. I tore a few ligaments and fractured my patella. I will see a specialist on monday. The my current doctor did say i will go under surgery, i just need to see this specialist first. I need all ps3 owners to help me. I need recommendations of a few games. I currently have metal gear solid 4 and little big planet. I would like to have at least one multiplayer game(slit screen) and one really amazing single player game. Thanks guys! I really appreciate what you say!
gosh guys I HAVE A PLAYSTATION 3!!!! I sold my wii for this. Tell me what "PLAYSTAION 3" games i should get because I'm going to be bed ridden for the next 4 weeks!!!!!
People these days...how can you all be so hung up on these cod-battlefield-warfare-blah-blah-blah things. Try something new people! As for my suggestions, I don't know If your a fan of fighting games: Basic:street fighter Intermediate:Bloody Roar Advanced:Guilty Gear ...Well you see where I'm going, I expect you to know at least one of these so yeah: Atlus came up with this very complete fighting game that sums up all of the company's experience: BlazBlue. It's amazing for a fighting game, it's a 2-d game with All-Hand-Drawn-Sprites!! Now for the solo things I got the uber action suggestion but if you're not quite the gamer it may prove hard on first play. By ''Quite the gamer'' I mean somebody who knows what ''Dante must die'' mean....Ever played Devil may Cry? So here, the game's called bayonetta, it's an epic action packed game with stunningly beautiful ennemies, try it out! If you're more of an Rpg player any Nis game is an assured time eater. Hahahaha....believe me dude...Disgeae 3 will keep you playing even after you've gotten all better ;P. Basically: it's a Nis game, thus meaning that every unit can reach a total of lvl 9999 in this amazing tactic, plus the game is sooooo funny. I would've recommended plenty of other games on the Ps1/Ps2 but you we're pretty specific on the Ps3 thing so here you go chap!
-Dragon Age: Origins- One of the best i've ever played, it should keep you entertained for hours Fallout 3- post apoctalytic rpg, lasts for hours and has a shitload of side quests(just don't complete the main story right away) The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion- One of the best gaming experiences i've ever had, it's great if you like medieval, yet with a lot of fantasy elements, rpgs. But i think Dragon Age is better.
If you don't like Rpgs then you have:
GTA 4 Uncharted 1 and 2 Resistance 1 and 2 Condemned 2- If you like horror games Ratchet and clank Stranglehold- Love this, one of my favourite Killzone 2- I wouldn't recommend this one if you are new to FPS games
These are all great games that i own are very happy with. Hope you get better soon.

Borderlands was horribly repetitive. Dragon Age: Origins is definitely the way to go for party-based RPGs, despite being nothing compared to Baldur's Gate (unavailable on console). And Oblivion was good but nothing compared to Morrowind. Fallout 3 was good in comparison with its predecessors and manages to be pretty original and great fun. Not very difficult though.
Ok, saw the doc today. He said i tore my mcl and broke my tibia.
ok for a good single player bio-shock 2------goood split screen is mw2 , also an amazing single player is infamous its rated T but is awesome best game evea i lik lord of the rings conquest too goood split screen
a MCL is the Medial collateral ligament. Thanks guys! I'm going to buy a few games this week. Well because some of you were going to suggest ps1 classics and ps2 games please do.

Ok, for PS1 you have:
Final Fantasy 7- One of the best games ever, you can buy it on the playstation store Medievil- Again, great game, you can also buy it on the PS store Abes Odissey- Good game, you can also find it on the PS store Metal Gear Solid 1- You can also find it on the Store
There are probably better games than these, but they're the ones i remember better. Then for PS2 there is:
Bully, or Canis Canem Edit- It's like GTA, but in highschool, you can go to classes and it's a lot of fun, not many games will entertain like this one MGS 2 and 3- _Great games, but if you don't like 45 minutes long cutscenes you better avoid it. It has probably the best storyline ever. GTA San Andreas- Great game, probably not the best off the GTA series, but it sure was the most fun Gran Turismo 4- One of the best driving games ever made Final Fantasy 10- Not as good as 7, or 9, but it's still great Marck Ecko's Getting Up- Very underrated game. You play as a graffiti artist struggling against an opressive government, very good story.
You should also know that the PS3 doesn't play PS1-2 games, so unless you buy them on the Store, you won't be able to play them.
FallenSky will pronouce himself yet again on this thread for mrDaFufinator wants Ps1/pS2 suggestions, which goes with what FallenSky is versed in. But let FallenSky say this: Upon doing such a thread, maybe you should give us your preferences so we can have a line to follow, but that's just what FallenSky thinks... - Now for the Ps1, FallenSky like these games very much as they made his childhood. Rpgs: -Tales of destiny 2. (Best real time rpg ever...beats the hell out of any ff game on the gameplay experience.) -Final Fantasy 7. (How could it not be here, it's the best FF ever for anything. Amazing story.) -Legend of Dragoon. (Don't listen to people saying this game is crap, its incredible story and innovative gameplay are worth any rpg experience, plus, nothing beats the feeling of hearing Dart screaming ''Double Slash!'' * Side-scrolling Action! -Any MegamanX game makes FallenSky's day. On the Ps1 are X4,X5 and X6 which are all amazing action games. Side scrolling will never be the same. -Rayman. (The first rayman in 2-d is so hard it just makes FallenSky's sixth gamer sense goes nuts. Random-spawning-fist-throwing-dismembered-hero 2-d games have never been that great.) * Now let's leave it at that for the Ps1 FallenSky's Ps2 suggestions includes a lot of rpg's, some adventure and even shooters! Rpgs -Hack G.U. (Wants the ultimate geek experience? In this game you play the role of a guy who plays an online game ^^. It's a real time rpg, meaning that you have full control over your actions in battle, thus, doing nothing WILL get you killed. It's a threefolded game by the way so there're 3 games to buy. Bad point: costly. Good point: lot's of hours of hack fun!) Makai kingdom. (Nis game; fun as hell, boasts an infinite playtime, plus the characters are hilarious. FallenSky's present save data, on which his Lord Zetta is level 724, has about 400 hours of playtime ^^.) Phantom Brave. (Same as above except for an all new battle system and a very moving and dramatic storyline.) -Xenosaga. (Couldn't go by without mentionning this monument. Xenosaga is a science-fiction rpg with a loadfull of symbolism and implicit philosophy. Basically, it was made by geniuses. The story packs quite a punch and the game show real evolution in gameplay as the trilogy advance. (Yeah it is also a threefolded game but this one even have two cd's per game except for the first ^^.)) -SOTET *Stands for star ocean till the end of time* (Nothing more to be said: it's a star ocean game. Real time fighting, incredible playtime, lots of sidequests and after game completion to do. Potentially very hard.) * Action/adventure -Shadow of the colossus. (One of the best game ever...the feeling you get when horseriding in this game is undescribable. As they say, some mountains are climbed, others are slain ^^, see for yourself. This game is a must if you like majestic panoramas and oversized enemies.) * Shooters -Resident evil 4.(No description here: if you haven't gotten through this game yet, FallenSky urges you to rush to the closest game shop and buy it along with a Ps2.) -Time Splitter future perfect. (If you like totally unrealistic shooters this one is awesome and so, so funny. Cortez will always make FallenSky laughs.) * Well that'S all for FallenSky's suggestion, he strongly advise you to put your video game preferences so that next time he won't pass 20 minutes on a post ^^.
