It would be most interesting to have a CoD set in Vietnam. Some people could play as Vietnamese people in the jungles and ambush the American soldiers. That's a game I would play!
Yep its definetly Vietnam but I think they do better when its a fake war like the Modern Warfare series, but thats my opinion of why Infinity Ward is better than Trayarch.
They are going to make a Modern Warfare 3 next id think. Because MW2 was a hit and at the end of the singleplayer when your soap, and your being helped to the copter, the guy says i know someplace we can go, and it fades and the singleplayer ends.... I believe a MW3 is next, but a vietnam or korean one would be nice...
They are already making a Vietnam one. Its called Call of Duty; Black Ops and will be released November 9th 2010. It will also have some sort of Nazi Zombie type mode and will be made by Treyarch. And I doubt that there will be a MW3 any time soon after what happened to Infinity Ward......
OK for everyone saying that COD: Black Ops is going to be a Vietnam War game...well its not. It will have the Vietnam conflict in it, but is set on multiple Cold War conflicts. This is what I am hearing at least. Here are a few citation and a new teaser trailer:
After this one Infinity Ward just got butchered, so it is unlikely that they will be making any decent COD game any time soon. Depending on how successful this game is, may decide the series fate.
Well, A new COD game is scheduled to release on November the 9th 2010. It is supposedly going to be based on Vietnam and Warfare in locations all throughout the world. It will most likely NOT be considered a sequel to MWF2, obviuosly,but looks quite interesting. I myself saw a teaser,and from my own personal opinion,seriously defines the meaning of epic, in terms of graphics. But only the producers and bug testers will know the true epicness of the game before its relesed. And if its anything like MWF2, it will have something like Mwf2's SPEC OP'S after game gameplay.
But judging by the trailer,it will probably be like BattleField:Bad company 2, because I happened to see modern weapons (as well as older ones) in the trailer.
