So is anyone else here interested in chess? I know it's a little nerdy but I find a game of chess a good way to challenge myself and get my brain going. Anyone else a fan? *Hopes he's not only one*
Yeah I used to play chess in my high school and I beat the math teacher who was in charge of it and then I graduated. I don't really like playing anymore because people always loose and I feel bad so I let them beat me or tie with them but then that's not the point is it so meh. Elo wise I have no clue my Iphone told me 1500+ but I don't believe it.
Just go to chess.com. It's free chess. Just sign up and pick to play "Live Chess". I myself just played a game. It was funny because the other guy was up by 10 points and had me in a bad spot but I tempted him with a free knight which he thought he had earned because it was fork. But in reality when he took it I took his rook and got checkmate with only my queen at the same time.
I haven't played in years. Nobody around here except ten people in my entire school are remotely interested. I'm only guessing at that, considering how nearly everyone thinks that if it isn't simple, it's for nerds or queers.
