game is definitely biased towards small tanks. there's little incentive to use the large ones, as you'll just take more hits. you can't even use the leech gun to mitigate some of the health loss, shield is still your best bet, but shield works the same for a class 1 tank or a class 6 and everything in between.

tanks in BT2 were designed to be popped fast and quick, I guess with a limit of 10 bubbles per arena, the tanks were granted a big health boost. Maybe if health of enemy tanks was cut down 50%, or your own guns could do more damage, the pacing wouldn't be so bad.

I like arenas, but I'll be waiting for bt3 like everyone else, where the game is more fast paced and fun. I do hope we can still design our own tanks in that one.

I wish you could get better rewards faster, because I don't feel like saving up gun points for like a half hour to get 2 MGs.

As is, small tanks are too survivable - they can zoom around the arena avoiding most bullets and they have no issues taking occasional hits. The only time a small tank is going to be in trouble is if it gets glued, and even then it'll be fine if it keeps its distance from enemies
.

Completely true, 3 Leech Cannons strapped onto a large bubble = impunity. Just hold down the trigger, keep rotating around the edges of the bubble, and shoot your targets.

Conventionally built large tanks have issues surviving the DPS of harder missions because of their large signature radius - everything in the arena can hit them with minimal effort and they have issues dodging.

Again, very true mate. 100% speed 100 HP with plenty of evasion (in which case you need a maximum of 50 HP, and that's rare), or 30% speed with 300 HP in which case Nightmare's and Daymare's would rip you up?

Also, there's no incentive to use all your bubble points, as a complex awesome-looking tank with lots of bubbles is just as survivable and combat-effective as a barebones tank with little more than weapons strapped to a single bubble (if any).

This is the best point of all, I just had a Huge Base Bubble with any good weapons I could find stuck on it, nothing more, actually, I did decorate it on the inside but not outside so it has a larger signature radius.

- A projectile crossing the invisible line between a detached bubble and the closest adjacent bubble counts as hitting your tank.

Sorry, but I don't agree with this, if there are other rules to help prevent these kinds of things I would probably agree, maybe 50 / 100 bubbles for Class 6 atleast? Obviously more, but you get the point. But one thing I enjoyed while playing the game was making a "fleet" using just one tank. It's actually quite fun and you can make friend or foe fleets, missing in between them is also part of it as some of the damage just flies right through

The rate of increase of gun points is simply too slow and makes going through the first 15 or so levels a tedium. There should really be a gun point awarded after every level.

Yes, this is also right, but maybe if you "filter it", as in a larger tank gets more gun slots, to make him larger, of course

I don't like the fact that a class 1 tank can have 3 leech guns / impunity when a very large tank has trouble getting through the first bubblefield (seriously ). And to be honest I think some of the guns gun point counts are too low, Leech Cannon and Mega Cannon. It would be awesome if the Class 1 had to have 4 gun points. Class 2 have 8. Class 3 have 12. Class 4 hav 16. Class 5 have 20, and Class 6 have 25. That works out pretty well in my opinion. Well, kinda .

Okay, so there's apparently a secret arena named 'the surprise'; also a cheat code which would give you 50 gun points. Has anyone any information on these?

50 gp... That's... a lot of exploding pierce cannons.

armorgames becomes pessimistgames!!!!
not too bad,u can now design your own tanks, making you uber flexible, and giving youalmost infinite kinds of tanks to create.the new bubble tanks arena also allows you to create your own arenas too, isnt that good enough?

the game sure is slow..laggy too..too complex..maybe they should have made the more bells and whistles features to be unlocked at the end of the last level or sth like that, but dont you see the whole concept is trying to have a facelift?
and can you see the word "arena"?thats not bubble tanks anymore, more like a new game, though im sure herointeractive will do sth better for bubble tanks 3
i dont see whats THAT bad about it,though i do feel sad for hero interactive

This game should be buried alive for it's constant feedback and suggestions. Gah! There is nothing more annoying for me in game then begin constantly interrupted by stupid messages.

"Do you want to publish your tank"? NO, if I didn't want it first time, you can be god damn sure I dont want it 5 sec later either. Make it a menu option, not a question...

"You are out of bubbles" error message when building a tank.. which interrupts your building for 2 seconds and flashes over whole god damn screen.. Seriously? I happen to missclick rather often, and get this crap all over my screen atleast 10 times each building session..

Please game authors, please, think about what feedback is good and what not..

/rant off, decent game otherwise, rather fun to build your own tank.

You made a profile for that? ROFL! I'm not sure if I should explain your stupidity or let your temper go wild ROFL! Seriously! How hard is it to just click off? And no wonder you bloody don't like the publishing option if you keep missclicking! Just grow up XD

If you would spend atleast one second on thinking (I know, it may be hard for you ) and click on my profile, you would notice that the registration date is 6/10/2009. I just started using forums recently, and this games issues was something that grabbed my attention.

So no, I did not register to complain. Sorry to burst your bubble :P

Seriously! How hard is it to just click off? And no wonder you bloody don't like the publishing option if you keep missclicking! Just grow up XD

You can't click the error message off. It just spawns there for two seconds, then disappear. The miss clicking is partly to blame on the bad design of the interface, I found rather hard to aim right some times.

Design is an important part of the game, and I then don't mean graphics but the interaction. Bad controls can ruin even the best game. Thankfully, there are people who are aware of that, because if all game designers would tell their customers to "grow up" when they complained about how annoying a game is, game industry would be a disaster.

So I would advice you to grow up instead, and check others register date before trying to flame

Thank you

That's a bunch of bull, there's also something called "adaption", seriously isn't hard to get used to it, alot of my family members played this and the only one with trouble (literally) is my 7 year-old nephew
Good games should make sure they adapt to users and are easy to control, not other way around, plain and simple.

I don't make flash games, fool - check MY profile and see what games I submitted.
Oh and also they usually don't respond to nerd-raging idiots with stupid reasons and potentially horrible vocabulary, it's not ****ing necessary for ****'s sake, just ****ing chill. Like that.

Considering your failed attempt to flame me for registering to just make the comment, you are not the one to talk about checking profiles.

I was not talking about you, please don't think so high of your self. I meant game industry in general, that "grow up" is not a valid response to an obvious flaw in the game.

I find this an issue, I state my opinion, simple as. So much for invalid reasons. Games that try to force users to adapt to them, instead of accepting flaws and fixing them fail.

Not to mention that vocabulary bashing is primary sign of immaturity, since not everyone is a native English speaker or had same education.

But trying to apply common sense to you seems to be a waste of my time, so I bid you farewell

Kay, I'll answer this, but from this post on it's inbetween mine and yours profile since I think we're disrupting a good forum topic.

Good games should make sure they adapt to users and are easy to control, not other way around, plain and simple.

That's a bunch of bull,
in the case it isn't adaptated, as I said, only my 7 year-old nephew had problems with it.

Considering your failed attempt to flame me for registering to just make the comment, you are not the one to talk about checking profiles.

Umm, when you first failed to check mine? I made an assumption, and I was wrong. Not that I care, as the first post you ever decided to make was:
1. A bad one.
2. Lacking good reasons.
3. Got you into an argument (I cannot call this a debate)
Biggest flaw there makes you seem like a hypocrite, ish...

I was not talking about you, please don't think so high of your self. I meant game industry in general, that "grow up" is not a valid response to an obvious flaw in the game.

I was talking about game industry in general as well. They do not respond to bad language, rediculous reasons or what looks like it was typed up by a drunk guy. What they do respect is logical questions with extremely (exaggeration here mind you) good points and enough proof and evidence to back them up along with 1 or 2 examples.

I find this an issue, I state my opinion, simple as. So much for invalid reasons. Games that try to force users to adapt to them, instead of accepting flaws and fixing them fail.

I have no problem with whomever wants to state their opinion, as long as it isn't intentionally stupid (this one probably wouldn't be, other you wouldn't have posted back), or just poorly put, which is the bigger probability here. I saw (nor anyone else I know) no difficulty in controling it, and really speaking, no game is the same with the mouse etc. They're going to be different sensitivities etc, and in the end people need to learn to adapt to this, which honestly wasn't hard at all.

Not to mention that vocabulary bashing is primary sign of immaturity, since not everyone is a native English speaker or had same education.

You had me there. To some degree, I doubt you'd find curse words appropriate mind you, so pointing that out doesn't really do anything. I don't mind swearing, as long as it isn't used too much or in the wrong reason / exaggerated.

But trying to apply common sense to you seems to be a waste of my time, so I bid you farewell

All those reasons I have just used was used with my common sense. 1. Who would swear in a foreign language?
2. Who would even bother mentioning you are just "stating your opinion" when you put it wrong. Common sense also shows the people who do that don't get answered to and usually get something worse if they had just kept quiet.

Oh and me thinking high of myself? The term I used ("Grow up&quot was one you had used with "Designers", if ALL (assuming all designers were designers like me, I had gathered) told people with complaints to grow up, they probably wouldn't get better. While true, was not what I was saying. I was speaking in how you put it wrong so badly. And I only agree with one of your problems with the game (the Error Message)

I will not bother responding to anything related to this argument on this forum now, just please go to my profile and I'll go to yours.

Oh and P.S The "applying common sense" is a large insult to me, not because it implies I am stupid, but simply because of my life. The attitude from it is quite disgusting (again, to me) really, so please don't do it again. Make sure you read the properly, as I don't mean it in an "upset" or "mad" way.

Cronnix is right.

I don't have problems with error messages as much, but they're still annoying. Having so many queries does clutter the process some. Other than that, this is a great game.
