The (kind of) new Endless War is not your typical endless War game. Instead, it is more of a kind of Tower Defense.

So, what do you all think about this new game?

It is very repetitive. But then again, aren't all flash games?

Yep. Just about...even though a storyline adds a bit of diverse game play.

I swear anonemous, you're gonna beat out firetail in forum posts if you keep posting this much! (btw that's a compliment :P)

Back to the subject, yes I agree with that. When you play a game, and it goes immediately to the menu screen, it's not as appealing of a game as a game with a cool intro and a theme song lol

Lol. I have random posting urges.

True..I guess games need to appeal to two body parts: Eyes and ears.
And maybe the brain...

Lol, yes, the brain is important lol. This is getting off topic. What's your favorite unit in the game?

I always go with Machine gun units or anything that shoots rockets.

Well, meet someone who only kinda likes this game, but not that much. Let me tell you why:
+ It is playable and is easy to figure out even without a tutorial (which I will not count as a con here).
+ It has nice graphics.
+ It has difficulty settings, so it suits more people than average - if they work correctly.

- It is put in a historical perspective; tell me that WW2 is an endless war and I will send you back to history 101 ;-) Why not a cool alternate reality setting?
- The concept is unrealistic as can be: you sneak into enemy territory and build a defensive line. The enemy then throws everything at you - frontally - and once you destroy all he's got, you own the territory. Er...really?
- The gameplay consists mainly of building stuff, upgrading it and then repairing and upgrading during the fight. It is pointless to take manual control.
- You don't get to see a lot of the action: you have to stay near your defences to repair and upgrade them, while the enemy is usually outside the screen. There is not much to see anyway: soldiers either run or lie dead, no limping or blooding inbetween, and vehicles do not show any damage until they blow up. The A-team TV series was more realistic than that! (I loved that series!)
- Everything is messy: the map screen has all unavailable missions, a background of fighting and arrows that point to where you can go AFTER playing a missionn. The game itself has upgrade buttons for structures that have been upgraded to their maximum level and repair buttons for structures that do not need repairs. This only adds to the time you spend checking your status and takes away time for watching the action.

So there you have it. That's how I only kinda like this game. My favourite unit by the way is the anti tank gun. The simply reason is that it is the only weapon capable of hitting and killing pretty much every basic unit type.

Pfft, all you do is spam Heavy and Medium tanks, make a blockade, and you're raping everything that comes out. (For the USSR it's the T-35 and T-28)

The game is too repetitive, it lacks action and it needs polish.

Also, the music is odd. I played my own music and it sure made the game more fun.

The game is just way too easy, trenchs and pillboxs when fully upgraded are insanely overpowered for their creation cost.

I thought 88mm FLAK-18 was crazily powerful until wave 30+ where enemy soldiers out-range everything you have. Only two rows of pillboxes still allow me to survive till 42 waves. I think with 4 rows of pillboxes you can survive wave 50+
