I guess that's why Ape and Gamefreak remade Red,Blue, and Green

I could point out a lot of ugly sprites, but Gengar, Articuno and Exeggutor just looks like crap. Gengar looks like it's hairy, Exeggutor looks retarded and Articuno don't look like it should. However Kingler is perfect and Snorlax and Aerodactyl looks almost perfect.

all of them look bad but the game is better than the newer ones it is stupid how many pokemon the newer ones have

Look at games over a decade ago, look at the handheld consoles over a decade ago....right, Gameboy were the first handheld gaming console, don't expect much from it so early on. The graphics at time of release were amazing, and i would still sit and play them if time allowed me to do so.
