Post your playable Crush the Castle 2 maps. There are other threads for talking about CtC2. If it's not good for shooting at or interesting to look at don't put it here: NO castles that fall apart by themselves, NO random junk piles.
Actually, there are more elements coded in that last level but, I didn't do that! That is why you get 13/12 when you win! One king dies twice ha ha ha ha!
Well it just doesn't help me get better ideas. My creations look the same now. My brain is completely empty of ideas. Joey needs to make a new CTC with different building material and weapon so I can create again.
You panic too much retrophil12, have some patience. I am not building any detailed stuff until this thing gets fixed and, it could take some time. However, as you say, I do test them extensively as I am sure the other Master Builders do.
From my naive knowledge of AG's system, they apparently do not have much for IT support in house and thus must rely on external help which is a problem.
In the meantime, I will just experiment with some ideas...
We know that retrophil12, and to become a Master Builder, Trismegistus has the sole authority to accept you into that club. At least there, you can put raw code and know that it won't be stolen. Considering that half our links do not work anymore, it is a good alternative. I have been a bit slow at posting mine but I have so many from so many CtC games, I don't know where to start!
They don't really delete accounts on AG. As many of the other gamers have done, they just don't come back but, you are correct in that they have wasted a lot of time trying to fix their own mistake.
So many questions... You cannot lock the beams that I know of besides the way that you did it with the hidden foundations. As for merits, you will have to talk to SSTG about that.
There's no built in function in CtC2/PP to attach or 'lock' pieces. What do you mean by the "1"? The only ways I know to lock pieces in place is with invisible foundation pieces, as I think you used, or by bracing pieces against each other using good old ingenuity, plus "friction/gravity".
Tris, if you look at the code for the foundation pieces, you will see an extra ,1 at the end. We can change that to a ,0 so we can manipulate these elements and then go back (after manipulation) and change the 0 to a 1 and lock the pieces in the positions we placed them. Timestables figured this out.
I am glad that choisart's pieces are still kept alive by you. His stuff is amazing!!!
Aaah, yes. Okay. As you can tell I don't technically know those foundation codes But! I do remember timestables being an innovator there, and with most everything else coding related too. Here's an early CtC2PP of his that I liked:
There was a another guy though, unless my fuzzy old memory is deceiving me. At the time he was quite insistent that his discovery be acknowledged. If I'm not mistaken it was something to do with foundation coding, moving or making it invisible I recall. His name was 'Eragon', something like that. So there you go, for posterity. Anybody remember the page number? Then I could prove it.
