Ok so bassicaly whats your favourite weapon to use if zombies was to Invade Earth.
Any type of gun! You can also pick up to 10 if you so wish!
Oh and your aloud to say why to!

Ranged Weapons

50.Caliber Barret Rifle/50.CAL Rifle(Sniper Rifle)
Desert Eagle because it does some pretty good damage if shot in the correct part of a zombie.
S.P.A.S 12 because although it's lack of reload in a time of need it can blow a hole in that zombie!

Meelee Weapons:

Chainsaw despite it needed to run on a motor it will slice through that horde!

Vehichles:

Formula 1 Racing Car with mounted M16 on window because it's a quick and easy escape plus fun for the family!
A Lorry because it's big....And strong held base get a ladder and clime on roof quick ambush store supplies in back easy for a good hide out! and good for a quick move!

Now this is what you would PERSONALY WANT! Not facts or anything! Plus I would have more but I am tired so i'm typing them out! XD
Anyways have fun pcking and posting!!!

Too heavy, both rifle and ammo, ammunition would be scarce anyways, so fail.
Desert Eagle because it does some pretty good damage if shot in the correct part of a zombie.

Once again, overkill. Scarce ammo, and it's hard to get quick accurate followup shots (trust me, I've used one)
Chainsaw despite it needed to run on a motor it will slice through that horde!

It will also tell every zombie within a mile that you're there, it runs on gasoline also, just stick with a crowbar or machete.

Vehichles:

NO! Unless you have a bulldozer to run through the zombies that any vehicle would attract, as well as all of the cars that would be chocking up streets, you're best off with a bicycle or a motorbike.

I'd use what weapons I already have available.

AR15: small, accurate enough at medium-long range, light and uses lightweight, plentiful ammunition.
Modded 10/.22: Accurate enough to hit a target the size of a head at just past 50 yards, can easily take thousands of rounds with you while on the move.
Mossberg 500 ATP: I have one, but I wouldn't want zombies close enough so I would have to use it.

ParaOrdnance P14: 14+1 rounds of .45 ACP? Hell yeah!

Also have a .308 Winchester, an M14, an AR10, and loads of others, but my dad or brother would probably be carrying those, or we wouldn't bring them because of the ammo issue.

By the way as I said it's what I WOULD use myself not say i'm wrong because actually Destert Eagle for me had a strong kick back but ignore that and your fine plus this would be like a computer type game! (Idiots)

By the way..... M14? Why???? Try an MP5 or an M16!!!!!!

What weapon would I want to use?

Silenced M16. The sonic boom is still loud as hell, but the zeds aren't going to know where it came from. Very accurate as well.

What weapon would make the most sense?

My legs, and my brain, and the ability to stay the hell away from them. You never want to waste any ammo, and never want to fire your weapon unnecessarily.

MP5? Wtf mate, an SMG? How can you compare an MP5 to either of those? Might as well use a pistol and save on some weight.

And M14s may be a little heavy, but they're accurate as hell; I can go good with iron-sights at almost 1000 yards.
I already have an M16, though, its called an AR15.

If it's supposed to be like a game, say it is, and don't call someone an idiot because you withheld information. That's just being a hypocrite.

My M4 type AR-15, already equiped with a foregrip and a laser pointer/flashlight. Set me back a bit but it's a good weapon. Accurate and reliable if maintained, plus ammunition is highly available. Good for closer quarters and building clearing as well as easy to carry, easy to bring to bear and easy to maintain.

A Beretta 92 9mm pistol, same as the military uses. I've used one numerous times and it's a good pistol, easy to strip and clean and 9mm ammunition is easy to come by. Being both a military and civilian weapon spare parts are easy to come by meaning if a part breaks it can quickly be replaced.

My Bowie knife and my pocket knife, about all I'd need. Maybe the Mosin Nagant M44, 7.62x54 R, only has a five shot capacity but has a folding bayonet and you'd have to try hard to break it. Built to Russian standards of reliability, bury it for a year, dig it up and it would still work. An axe would also be a good weapon, you just can't go wrong with axes.

For transportation I'd use a small dirt bike. Good for urban and offroad use.
For melee, I'd go with a machete and a small sledghammer.
For long range, I'd use my dad's .30-06 hollow point with the scope
For medium range, I'll use .22 Ruger short barrel semi-auto with iron sights.
For close range, I'll use a sawed off double barrel.
Obviously a carpenter's apron is a must to hold all the ammunition. I'd also make custom holsters for all my weapons, and when I'm not using a weapon I'll put it in my backpack that has 4 small cans of propane in case I need to blow something up. I'd also have daggers concealed at all possible spots, and I'll keep a motorcycle helmet and leg pads on whenever I'm fighting close range.

30-06 hollow point with the scope

Hollow point is a type of round you won't commonly find.

Hollow point is a type of round you won't commonly find.

Maybe not, but it has no different dimensions other than the hollow point itself, so normal .30-06 rounds could be used.

I personally love that round.
