Has anyone here read it? I'm supposed to be reading it for school over the summer and heard it was very confusing. Is it an easy book to read?

Spark Notes is only good to an extent, I don't want to spoil the book either.

Nice job bumping your thread like three times XD

well I've read it and I thought it was good

Check the time. It was at the bottom of the page, before I bumped it once. Kyouzou replied to it, then I replied to him.

KnockoutSloth, due to the fact that you can't count, I doubt you actually read the book. I also doubt the fact that you won't go on Spark Notes to find out what the book is about.

I have only seen the movie adaptation. The main idea though around the original story seemed to still hold true in it though. The novel in itself was based on the near future within the story(it was written in 1962 after all) and some teen slang was apparently invented for it, but the story in itself is difficult for me to summarize. I would suggest you try to read it on your own, but if you get confused you could always try watching the movie as well, and use online resources that help explain whats going on in the book. Thats about the only advice I can give.

So yes, it is confusing and I might need to use Spark Notes? Thanks. Lock this thread, now.
