Suuuuuuuuuuuuure, it's quite easy to get addicted to it, but most of you play other games more than 7 hours a day anyway (MW/Halo).
It's a pretty fun game whose only fault is that it costs 15 dollars a month, but considering the time you will be wasting on it and the fact that the servers are rarely down, that 15 dollars are well spent.
80 pally/hunter who has been awol for about 6 months and looking to resubscribe in the next week or so. I got too many 70s to not level up by the time cata comes out.
A friend of mine sent me the free trial though my computer didn't like it and I figured I could find games at least as good for free or at least without a monthly bill.
Still, the only two or three times I played it (before my computer decided I'd played enough) I got the idea the entire game is basically a fantasy race war. Think about it, at the loading screen there is on one side these perfect, tall, blonde, blue eyed Aryan people (the Alliance) and on the other side there are these grotesque, evil monster like things that are the enemy, though they seem to look like what German propoganda in the '30s tried to make the Jews and Slavics look like. I also remember a mission where I (alliance at the time) had to go and kill a bunch of miners just becouse they where there and of a non-human origin. Just seemed like a fantasy style World War II with the Nazis (Alliance) v. the Soviets (horde).
But my friend enjoys it and wants me to write something about it for her so I've got pleanty of ideas. The game itself didn't look bad but the people could get aggrivating and my computer hated it. Tell me when someone finds the +2 MP40 or Luger.
I played it , wow was much fun and a verry cool game. However sometimes when ur not raiding or doing arena's u may find urself running rounds in the main city ( dalaran )since the pvp queue times are on some servers ridicoulles (and wow pvp is kind of bad allready).
Also a great tip to have fun is to avoid annoying / jerkish players and guilds , u'll play a lot longer if u stay away from such persons =) ( well once u play u notice that this is hardly an easy task )
wow is a waste of money and is a big adiction to a lot of people, still dont know how, played the game for a month, still had 1 month left but stopped cause it was borring like hell and the fact that you have to pay a lot for it isnt atractive either
I still play my tauren shaman sometimes. I don't play nearly as much as my brother though. He usually plays WoW and MW2 at the same time if you can belive it.
