this is bassically like the battle of the bands thread in the popular media section except with videogame characters.
i give two videogame characters and you guys vote. ill end up setting like a time limit but for now it will be whenever i feel like putting new ones up, and ill go ahead and set a score limit for 10. ill start off with a fairly good battle.

I can't remember if I placed my vote on this one...Oh well; Samus would win hands down. Even though master chief is more accomplished as an individual, this contest takes in account all the characters have to offer, which means Samus's incredibly upgradable Chozo made armor. Missiles, wide array of beams, morph ball, space jump...Yep, I think she would win. Not to mention the ever unfair screw attack ^^.
Snake has more training (I would imagine), has done the same (and probably better) feats and is generally better at everything.
The worst thing about me trying to explain how Snake will easily kick Soap's slippery (haha?) ass is because he is just better at... everything. Not to mention he definately has more stamina, if you get shot 12 times on CoD u die (or even 3 if its veteran), but if you suffer 20 punches (in which u only survive 2 on CoD), 1 elbow to the face, a knee to the back of the head, a punch to the face, 3 headbutts to the head and a flat out kick in the stomach in a single fight, I'd have to go with Snake.
Oh and I haven't played MGS in years, I just watch the fight between him and liquid.
P.S Dude... He fights near-mutant enemies... With several tactical advantages.....
I vote Samus, more advanced technology in my opinion (halo gameplay isn't as complex as others, no offense ).
Also, Snake also suffered: 2 elbows to the face (a correction) A bodyslam into his stomach A merciless beating of punches to the face - yeah, he survives more than any CoD dude.
And for those who argue about his needles he uses that help regenerate stamina - that's bull. CoD allows you regeneration of some HEADSHOTS without anything but a few seconds of time.
Samus ftw! I don't know who he is though, just read an above post and saw some cool sounding (and advanced) stuff (which actually convinced me lol) Also. Master Chief has very bad melee skills lol

He can survive a fall from space - hundreds of degrees (if I'm right) and still continue to fight but he can't survive, say, a rocket launcher? Something you're not telling me. He was in a vehicle, wasn't he?
Either case, that's retarded and peoples opinions may exclude that information and thus skew off the statistics. Even though he can't survive a full assault rifle magazine, right? I'm not even sure lol I barely play!
Master chief cannot survive a fall from space lol!? What's this crap about, chuck norris would have trouble doing that, now are you saying master chief is better than chuck norris, I wouldn't think so. Anyhow, even with the ''Survive from outer space fall'' Perk, Samus would get him because you know, surviving from such a fall in a fight is not really usefull...
Well buddy, if you say master chief survives a direct fall from space, which physics affirm is impossible, then you kind of grinded down my eagerness to play halo 3. I mean what's the fun when it's not even realistic anymore, I don't want to play master ''God''...In any case, master chief can die in battle right? He can right? So here you go, I' played pretty much all halo and metroid games and to me it's obvious samus would win. If you can't see that you should be the one to be playing more Samus games, that way you would stop saying master chief kicks asses.
the suit dosent really allow him to die and falling from space is starting to become possible in real life they are researching suits that you can fall from space without a space ship with
