alot of people i know including myself started gaming at a extremly early age (about 5 years old) we would play resident evil and spyro and toy story and so on and did you guys get into gaming was it someone tolled you to play this certain videogame and u loved it so you started playing more? or did you see someone play a game and though it looked cool so you thought you would give it a shot?
I remember sitting on my grandfather's lap and watching him play Tetris Attack an SNES. Also, I remember spending long nights in a basement with my dad taking turns playing the first Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games on an old computer.
As far as I know I started when I was two when my parents got me a Sega Genesis. I don't think I've ever stopped playing video games for more than a month since then.
At around 2 or 3 years old my dad introduced me to Unreal Tournament (a game I still play a lot) and Civilization 3 (still a fun of the series). I kept playing on-and-off once I'd been taught how to handle his keyboard and mouse. When I was about 5 I got my own computer and got into strategy games. At around 8 I got a newer computer and got into FPSs. So I've been hooked to gaming the majority of my life. O_o
my first game i can remember was when i was 4 years old and it was actually DOOM. well i wasn't really playing i was just shooting while my dad would move for me. we would play DOOM then the platform version of Duke Nukem and some Sim city. my first ever game solo would of been Toy story. friends of my parents brought their Playstation one over and i was hooked on the thing. my parents bought me one and i played snowboarding, toy story and crash bandicoot. today in order of when i received em, PS1, Gameboy, PS2, PC, DS, Wii, PS3 and probs about 150 games which isn't a lot compared to other people.
When my mom was pregnant she played Doom all the time. Does that count? If it doesn't, when I was 3 I would sit on her lap and shoot the monsters in Doom while she moved the character. I also played some kind of lion king game nonstop.
man i love that game. well i started when i was 1 my mom said i picked up a controler for the ps1 and moved around " it was a barbie snowborading game, though i hate barbie and im a boy.." they i played halo at the age of 4, bet the legendary missions at 5 got xbox live at 10 sadly.
