I am a COMPLETE MAC! the best thing about them is that they don't get viruses or spyware like cps do. They're also a lot more user friendly and simpler to use. it kinda sucks that no one make games for them though...
Lots of you are mac's. The reason I'm a mac is because i've watched all the mac vs. pc commercials. My Uncle has a Mac and he said he's had a mac and hasn't gotten one virus ever. Yeah. I believe him.
they use the same parts nowadays, so the only real difference is OS (which are pretty similar anyways), price, and the super duper fancy unibody case
makes no difference which you chose since you can dual boot with compatible OS's, so if you're so convinced mac is a better product and are happy to fork out 4x the real value of the computer, go ahead
It really just depends which OS you like more since they end up costing about the same. Macs cost more in the beginning but PCs need a ton expensive of antivirus software (which doesn't even work all the time) and don't last nearly as long as macs. Personally i think macs dominate but i'm not here to start a flame war.
PC, I don't need all the "convenient" gimmicks that a mac offers (in exchange for being like $500 more expensive). Plus, in terms of desktops I can build my own PC.

Well, you can install whatever operating system on whichever you want can't you? Like put windows on a macbook, or w/e Mac's OS is called on a PC?
And I'm gonna say I perfer PC, because generally the hardware inside of a PC is better (yes, I'm a gamer...but it's also in the gaming section lol). And I also can't support Mac, because they try to control everything that comes into their markets i.e. Ipod and Ipad only allowing approved apps to be installed...I just don't like all that controlling they do :-/

You can get free antivirus software, or you can pay $80 a year for McAffee(which does work). At that rate it would take atleast 10 years for my computer to have cost me as much as a Mac. But by that time I would have a new computer since I am a gamer/programmer. Also I dare you to find a working Mac that hasn't been updated since 1996(it has to be one that is used regularly).
