I've decided try making a story, since lot of people were doing this, and it would also be a great way to practice my writing skills.
Try to comment, so I could make the story better.
I might update it every two days, a week at most.
Chapter I: The country of cloth.
A black figure appears in the room, carrying with him a sword. He paused and said:
"The time has come!"
-----------------------------------------------Pearl of life chronicles: Chapter I--------------------------
In the eastern land of the vast earth, where the sun prevails and clouds not, where the two great kingdoms of Miterli and Oceardill hugs the great country, a boy will come and will keep the balance of the world
It was a warm and yellow Thursday morning. A gravely wounded teenager, bruises and blood all over his body, wakes up lying on a bed in a fabric tent, not knowing who, or where he is. Having difficulty, he peeks to his left, and saw a lovely maiden nursing him. With the teenager's lips, he asks the maiden "Where am I? Who am I?" Upon hearing these, the teenager saw a man from the tent's door go outside from the tent. As the teenager focused his vision back to maiden, the teenager saw her lips opening, and with her soft voice, she said "We found you at the old shrine of the Taketsugu". The teenager did not recall what he was doing there, or even what the shrine of Taketsugu is. So he asked the maiden "Do you know, Who I am?"
The maiden gave him a sad nod.
The teenager rested on the pillow of the bed, the maiden continuing nursing him. Outside, he heard loud noises, then a man wearing a long white robe, about twenty four in age, carrying with him a golden staff came and said "Can you name yourself child?". The teenager who was still slightly perplexed said no, and he asked the man if he was his father. "No, I am the country's priest. We have found you in the old shrine of Taketsugu, you were lying there unconscious. It was good we found you at the right time, the Waldviltiers was going to destroy it." The man said. The teenager then turns to the maiden, and asks her "Who Are you?" The maiden in turn introduces herself as the princess of the country.
The man(priest) then goes outside of the fabric tent, and continued to walk through a sandy road. The way was slightly crowded, for many people were there. After some walk, a large gate stopped him in his tracks, and two guards opened it for him. He ventured through many decorated room until he finally reaches a throne room. He walked through the hall, on which was vast, bowed down, got back up and spoke "My lord, It is truthfully miraculous, her Excellency, your daughter, really has a lot of magical power within her. The boy's bones were fixed, and his muscles regenerated. If it weren't for the princess, the boy would have died.". Upon hearing, the king replied with a voice loud enough that it was heard on the four corners of the room, but as kindly as a boy speaking to a friend "Does the boy know himself and what was he doing in the shrine?". The priest replied "Apparently my lord, the boy does not remember anything.".
The king stands and tells the guards to get outside the throne room.
"Do you think he is the one?" The king says with both truth and fear embeded in his eyes. "I do not know my lord, but if he is, I think the princess is ready.".
....the king then said dissapointingly " But I'm not "....
"The moonâs resonance, the alignment of the stars, the rise of the sun. If it happens all at the same time, I am...." "Silence Priest" The king suddenly interrupts him.
The teenager then looks at the maiden again, "You are the princess? If you are, why are you nursing me?" The princess then said "The countryâs best healers could not heal you, and the priest says that I have incredible magical power, a power equal to the amount used so that you would become completely healed, that is why I am the one that is healing you. No one could heal you if it weren't for me."
"Then that means you are my savior. Thank you princess." The teenager said.
"Your welcome." The princess said.
"What is your name princess?"
"Naomi, why do you ask?"
"I surely must know the name of my savior.â The teenager then mumbled "Will I be healed soon?" The princess then said to the teenager he would soon be fully healed and just needed some rest.
After a slight damp of cloth, the princess then packed up her things, and waded a goodbye to her patient. She went through the tentâs door, and outside what was waiting for her was a lovely chariot, fit for a queen. It had four wooden wheels, in which all were decorated with the finest stones. The small door lying on its side where painted with a unique phoenix motif, and it had a shiny golden doorknob. A man then knelt before her and said âYour excellency, his majesty has ordered us to escort you. Please, go to the chariot.â âTskâ¦Tskâ¦Tskâ¦â The princess nodded âChang, how many times do I have to tell you to call me by my name?â âBut her majesty, I seriously cannot do such a disrespectful thing.â âWell Chang, I permit you to call me by name, and itâs not disrespectful that way.â She said as she headed to the palace walking. âExcellency, please take the chariot.â To no heed, the princess continued walking and eventually reached the palace gate. Then she ventured through the same rooms the priest have travelled to, and went to the throne room.
âFather!â She shouted to her delight, as he hugged him. âOh, my little Naomi. How was the boy?â the king asked. âFather! Iâm not a âlittleâ anymore!â âReally?â the king teased as he pinched the nose of Naomi playfully. âGo to your room now Naomi, supper will be ready soon.â
Naomi went to her room, and she took off her scarf. She placed her supplies at her table, and headed to the balcony. "Hmm....I wonder what happened to that teenager. Huh?â she said with a sharp voice âWhat is that sound, it is pretty relaxing, Itâs... I can't.. I can't resist it, itâs like its calling me. What is that, bells?" The princess then saw flashes with her eyes. "What was that? itâs the country, the clan, and the teenager.". "PRINCESS!!" the priest and the king said as they slammed open the door. The princess was still thinking deeply, as though she was sub-conscious. Both the priest and king were speechless.
"Princess?â The king said with a very disturbed tone.
Then the princessâ feet started to lift, and to no question, she started to go up. "Oh no." The priest said. "Can't you stop the process, priest?" the king asked swift fully and seriously to the priest.
The princess floated in midair, and her heart glowed.
The teenager in the tent had risen up from his bed. He did not know why, but he felt the sudden feeling he should go to the princess. He opened the tentâs fabric door, and asked the people where the princess resides. In the dark night, they pointed to him a silhouette of a very large castle, not really far from where he was. Without any time to lose, he ran to it.
Meanwhile, in the castle, the king and the priest stayed there, with their mouths open, and had a very amazed look in their faces. Breaking silence, the king shouted to the priest "Get the boy". The priest nodded, and hurriedly ran to the castle doors.
Outside the castle, he saw there, the boy, panting heavily as though he ran as fast as he could. âLet us go!â the priest said as he grabbed the boyâs arm. âWe must go to the princessâ¦â
Entering the castle, the priest and the boy ran through the large set of rooms, and finally reached the princessâ room. Opening the majestic door of the room, there they saw the princess, still floating in midair, and the king looking at her, saying to the priest âtoo lateâ¦â
The boy then ran to the princess jumping and grabbing her. He carefully put the princessâ body in his hands, in which was bandaged. "What happened to her?" the boy asked the king. His majesty, who was still staring at her, said with an enigmatic voice "You must retrieve it, her power, is not within her anymore.â
"Listen boy. This might be the most important and at the same time most risky thing that the king and I would do. But we have no choice. " The priest said, as he raised his right hand. He opened his palm and started to speak words in a language that the boy could not understand. From nowhere, a staff appeared in the priestâs hand. He handled the staff firmly, and used it to hit the floor, the words he uttered getting louder. An inscription appeared on the floor and it was so big that it reached the wall and was distorted.
The wind in the room got abnormally strong, the teenager could barely hold the princess.
"May you be the one" That was the last words of the king.
