i'm starting off learning the electric guitar and i know how the left handed strings are different than the guitar because it's like the opposite sides from each other, so i was wondering, if you lefty, does the tabs have to be left handed, or it doesn't matter?
i prefer not to use tab whatsoever, seeing as it gets you to a point faster, but keeps you there. whereas using notes, you progress slower many say, but you can continue to grow, in theory forever in skill.
on the subject of the tabs.. >_>
i say it depends on if you place your srings backwards or not as a left hander.
many left handers like to put their high E where low E belongs or vice versa, or they flip the guitar over and keep them or flip strings.
