How about the addition of environmental factors such as water or blowing wind that affect the speed of the racer in different ways. In the same category maybe different platform surfaces that are slippery or sticky and effect the control you have over your character.
Maybe instead of levels being in an odd black area with blocks for floor and walls it could be a place in the world such as a tundra or desert or forest or cave, and have hazards relating to the type of place you're in! (examples: Desert has quicksand or mountain has falling rocks)

I meant overall just being slippery or sticky making you slower, faster, harder to slow down, not changing the affect according to "what level you are"

YES but if you were to put a hazard in a desert, why not put quicksand in there?
yall should make it where you can find what room your friend is in and join that room if open space and should make tournemts played on the top rated lvls that ppl make
Clothing with upgrades like more speed, doble jump, wall jumping, wing shoes(you know, to levitate), ninja shoes(for wall jumping or wall falling friction), hero cape(speed and levitate). But others posts have good ideas to.

WHAT I'D DEFINITELY NOT LIKE TO SEE is something ruining the simplicity of the game, such as:
â-POWER-UPS - A BIG NO to anymore special abilities, FLOW IS ENOUGH.
â-Too much new obstacles and traps - Ruins the fun of it
â-Fixing of the double jumps - Double jumping is a skill, not a glitch
