Characters Greg, Tom, and Peter: 17 years old each. Murderer (clown).
Setting
The story takes place in Greg's basement. He is having Tom and Peter, two close friends, over for a sleepover. The basement's main room is a giant 'living room' type of room. There is a bathroom connected off from the main room. There is also another small room connected off the main room, almost opposite the bathroom.
Hope that gives you a better perspective on the basement, if the description didn't. The last scene will end up being on the main floor.
Plot
Greg is having two close friends over, Tom and Peter. While they are downstairs talking to each other, Tom sees a strange dark figure walking towards the house, but things nothing of it, seeing as though he thinks it's his imagination because he is getting sleepy. A couple minutes after seeing the dark figure, Tom hears a strange noise coming from outside the Other Room's window. The other two don't hear it at first, and just tell Tom to ignore it. A couple of minutes pass, and the sound comes again. This time all three hear it. Peter doesn't think there is anything there, and says things like this never happen. They go towards the Other room, and tell Peter to go in and check it out, since he doesn't think it is anything. Peter slowly walks into the room, when Greg and Tom hears a loud crash, and a loud yell from Peter. They are really scared, so they run away quickly from the room and towards the bathroom. They spend a while there, until Greg suggests that they should go check out what is happening. Tom isn't sure, seeing as though they don't have anything to guard themselves with. Greg looks in the cupboard in the bathroom, and finds some air freshener, and a plunger. They slowly walk out of the bathroom, making sure no one is there. Once they get out, they walk towards the Other Room. Greg sticks the plunger in and hits the light switch, and the light turns on. They walk into the room, but only see shattered glass and some blood on the ground. They want to make sure absolutely nothing is there, so they go and check the closet. They slowly open the closet door, and nothing is there. They sigh a sigh of relief and turn around, to find Peter's body shoved behind the door to the Other Room. Both of them scream and run out the room.
The rest of the plot is sorta scattered. Tom will end up dying, leaving Greg alone. Greg will then end up going upstairs, face to face with the murderer (a clown). The story will then end right before the clown kills Greg.
Other Notes
I would write this, seeing as though I have most of the plot down, but sadly I have been having some trouble beginning the story (the first paragraph). I am just not sure how to begin the story, while keeping the suspense/horror theme in it, while trying to capture my audience.
If anyone wants to help, that would be greatly appreciated, and once I have the first paragraph chosen, I would then be able to write the rest of it, and hopefully have it up on here soon.
Shoot... sorry the room thing didn't work. Hard to see when typing everything in the little box. Hope you still understand what it is supposed to look like.
