this is about well, obviously WW2. most ww2-relaed rpgs are allies, so i thought i would make axis :P. well it is based off the german part for the setting, but tried to be politically correct XD

Classes & Weaponry: in sections:
Wehrmacht: the backbone of the entire force. gets easier missions, but not the best equipment.
Volksgrenadier: similar to militia, they were deployed widely mainly for defense purposes. fanatical. starts with Kar98k, 2 ' Potato Masher' grenades, and combat knife.also only gets a grey hat instead of a helmet.
Pioneer: logistical and mechanical strength of any operation. similar or equivalent to an american 'combat engineer'. starts with mp40, Wrench, and repair tools/kit. chance of getting flammenwerfer later.
MG: the gunner of the fearsome MG42. part of a 3-4 man squad. just the sound strikes fear into an enemy roach! also has a Walther pistol.
AT: more of a branch of a normal soldier, they are taked with destroying enemy armor and fortifications. 2 man squad. starts with Panzerfaust and captured Russian AT-rifle. 1 grenade.
Waffen SS: Hitler's personal bodyguard, they served as a brutally effective shock troop on nearly every part of the war. Highly equipped and trained.
Grenadier: basic unit. starts with Gewehr 43,bayonet, foliage camo, and the thicker combat helmet.
MG2: has a lighter, more portable version of the MG42. not much assistance needed. still 2 man squad,though.
Shock: the baddest out of all the BA's. starts with SG-44, combat knife, Luger pistol, and 3 grenades. easy missions will never ever happen...ever.
SS Officer: a trained, professional Officer. deadly,ruthless, efficient, just their present makes a big difference in anything. starts with Luger, compass,map , radio. also has a small entourage. vital for any type of management
Panzer Lehr: the best recruits were hand picked from tank school to be in this division. expect the best.
Schutz: start at the bottom , work your way up.

on Pointe-du-Hoc, you are inside a trench fighting off ze Yankee Airborne. your squad is taking heavy casualties, and the trench next to you is right about to be overrun. a grenade bounces past you, ver the trench, and explodes harmlessly.

you both don;t know much about them, and didn't get a good look at the Airborne. you look at a dead body and it has a M1 carbine and a pineapple grenade.

the bunker is a bit smaller than a house, with a nice big slit overlooking the beachhead. the Yanks call it 'Sword' beach. your gun has been mounted onto this opening, but can be taken off, and the other guy has a heavier model of the MG42, which is also mounted. you have another soldier for an assistant and the other has 2 others, as it is heavier.
you seethe first blips of their boats on the horizon..

you wait, and see a boat. you tak ecareful aim and rip through it, seeing a few dots slump and fall. you continue firing, killing some more, but it lands anyway and see a swarm of troops come out as long as other boats. "DIE DIE DIE!" your partner, Adalwin yells joyfully, taking out his own pistol and joining in. 30 seconds after the first boat lands....complete silence. Most of the Yanks have hidden behind obstacles or are dead, floating in the water wasting space.

YAY!!!! I look for enemy units. Automobiles of any sort: Shoot the driver, preferably right before a bend. If someone else starts driving, shoot him. Tank: The allies didn't have tanks in Normandy. Still, if there are, run away fast. Infantry: Take out the snipers first, then the other guys. Planes: Run Away Fast. If there are no enemy troops, I tell the Volksgrenadiers to take strategic positions, like on the roofs of buildings.

Checking yourself, you are ok, as well as Alawin, but the other crew didn't make it.... the entire roof of the bunker is gone, and a crater on one side.

yo see a jeep driving up the main road... with its low profile, it is hard for you to hit, and they swerve and take cover in the thick forest. an entire column of Yanks follow, guarded by a Light Tank.
