best portable? i say the ds for the fact it has many more goof games (like the psp to though dont get my wrong) also i like ps3 better for the fact is it has free online and has built in wifi internet detecter or whatever it is which it took xbox forever to do i would like xbox more if it had a little bit cheaper online but for now i say ds and ps3
Whether or not it's a console (I don't know) it doesn't matter as people play games on it to a serious level (even more serious than other consoles) - PC. PC: Can play RTS's to a much more larger level. Can play all games with greater flexibility. They never go out of date. It allows more mods etc (thus flexibility) for all types of games. It can handle more information than other consoles. It has more flexible... everything... really, including this - you do this via a PC, you can't do this on an Xbox or PS3 It is used for different things other than slight communication and gaming (such as a lot of communication :P ) Anything adopted hardware-wise for a console is also what a PC can do. (For Analog Sticks, the thumb button (or small finger button for lefties) is a ball on some mouses, allowing scrolling in RTS's, smooth movement on FPS's and gear selection on (some) RPG's.
If your not allowed to include PC, then this: Xbox - Best for serious console gaming (but PC does outrun this by 1.5643229 miles, no wait, that's 1564.3229 miles). PS3 - Best for casual console gaming.
PS3 Also has Blu-Ray and some other cool stuff (such as God of War). However Xbox I will have to say has better games (I would say Dante's Inferno but I think GoW > DI, but it has Halo :P (not a fanboi btw xD) )
As for portable? DSI :P the PSP is rarely used if obtained and all it does is let you play a PS game closer up on a smaller screen (aswell as podcasts etc for the car, which is handy). DSI has more utility stuff aswell as nice games (Brain Training, and Age of Empires Age of Kings (which is also good for historical information, to a degree - as all AoE games are imo), and others).
But I am not saying either of these are good, I see no need for them (aside from looking like a lunatic outside :P, not that I would call you one, just that other people would) whatsoever to be honest. If they'd adapted Halo to PC it would've made my day! Again - I'm no fanboi :P I just like Halo more than MW2 or CoD, simply because of its simplicity but awesomeness that goes with it (MW2 is very unbalanced, as some of you may imagine).
