Is it just me or does Firefox lock up for a second or two when playing games every now and then? I noticed this a while ago, and sent in notifications to Mozilla about the problem, but it hasn't been fixed yet... So I'm starting to think it's just mine :\\

This is what it's like... In Example: Say you're playing a game that requires the keyboard to control (WASD/Arrows). If you're holding down a button when that random time comes around, Firefox won't recognize you changed keys, and you'll continue to do whatever that key controls for a few seconds until it unfreezes. So if you were going left and it freezes, if you tried changing direction or stopping while it is frozen, it won't do so, and you'll more than likely run into whatever you were avoiding or miss your target :I

VERY annoying problem.

I've personally found Firefox to take up more RAM than it "should" -- it's starting to feel sluggish with all of the code they're putting into it that's supposed to speed it up.

I'd recommend trying Google Chrome, Opera, or Safari, and see if any of those experience the same trouble.

Keep in mind, too, that Flash games can take up a good chunk of RAM too, so if you only have 1GB or so on your system, it may slow things down while your operating system tries to accommodate everything else you're trying to run.
