Ok world of War craft is way better. It has better characters, challenges, and it is just more fun. The graphics on Runescape stink while War craft graphics are very good. Even if they are making graphic updates in Runescape (@jc2100) they will still not be able to compare to War Crafts graphics.
I started with Runescape,then i saw world of warcraft and I was amazed by it.For days I couldn't wait to get home after school!But for about 3 years of playing it,it got old.WoW is definitely a better overall game but I'm looking forward to Warhammer online! I truly believe it will be the WoW killer!
this would be like comparing the NY Yankees to a little league baseball team. They are in two different leagues of gaming. WoW is on the high end, and has good graphics, gameplay, and the works. Runescape on the other hand.... is not. It is basically for those whose computer's can't handle a better game download, or don't bother to look for one. I can understand some of the die-hard RS addicts still play, but cmon, the whole gaming business has advanced well beyond runescape. there are much better free games you can find (although many will need a client download) that blow RS outta the water.
for those of you who say Runescape is better because you can have friends (d0m1nated14 *cough cough*) What MMO can't you have friends on. any game is addicting when you play for a while.... thats why you keep playing it!
Guess i shouldn't completely bash on RS. WoW is kinda ridiculous with subscription fees. My advice, if you want a quality game like WoW, and you aren't willing to pay every month, check out guildwars. You just buy the disc like any normal game, and the rest is free from there.(of course if you get into it and buy all 4 (i believe its still 4) installments out, it would cost $200, but you can live on just 1)
