Hey all It took about 5 hours but I made this: http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/811/grade18.png I also had a grade 17 and 16 so was almost to a grade 19 but lag was far too much of an issue, even with all the settings put to 0. Eventually, I just took the R/O gems out of the traps and decided to suicide it because I didn't have time. Im proud of it.
The only reason why you would make grade 18 gems is to use them for a boss wave. The max grade you should use is grade 15 prismatic, and add grade 9s to this to get the damage super high. Also, place the gem in a trap, not in a tower - it actually deals more damage because of the 6x hit and increased firing speed, plus it's got WAY better specials.
