I want to know which game people think r better. many people seem to belive these r perhaps 2 of the best games on Armor Games, so id like a vote. every week i shall count up the votes from the thread and post the votes. by the way, u can only vote 1 time. and plz include reasons y.
I am going to review the two games for you people because most of you don't know how to vote on a game. The reviews are going to be the most basic summary I can make.
Exit Path is just a recycled idea from Platform Racing 2, but with less content, which makes it a recycled game. The single player is very short with about 3-20 minutes of game play, depending how good you are. There are parts in the game where my computer lags on single player. The game is quick, and easy to get good at. There is a multiplayer mode. In the multilayer mode you have a timer which doesn't give accurate times. The lobbies break often. You can't choose the level to race on. The game comes with an achievement system for both single and multiplayer. The music doesn't fit the theme. I will admit I love the exit Path community but those are the players not the game itself, so this doesn't count. Colony was a test game, and it is a tribute to Starcraft. This game is the only multiplayer strategy game on armorgames, but it takes elements from Sea of Fire, and uses some of the elements of Starcraft. The single player is about 25-90 minutes long, depending on how good you are. In the single player you can play the campaign and a quick play mode, which lets you play versus various AI difficulties. The quick play also has a tutorial. One feature that is exclusive to the single player only is the ability to talk to you ally AI, which can give you : orders, suggestions, plans, and information about them. The game comes with a multiplayer. The multiplayer allows users to gain ranks based on a hidden point system. Players can chat in 5 chat rooms. You can also chat on the battlefield with your ally, opponents, and anyone else via the pm system. You can make a friend list of up to 30 people, which does become useless due to all the alt accounts. Players can set up their own match. The game has good graphics that don't lag up on me even in the multiplayer (wireless users will lag on all multiplayer games online). The music fits the theme of the game. Something about the music many players might not notice is the 4 governments have a different track set and the music played via a shuffled loop with various drum fills. The game does have lots of glitches which many players exploit in the multiplayer, but the glitches only occur if a player tries to metagame (play outside the ruleset). The community is unfriendly, but it was perfect a year ago. The condition of the community is the effect of the exploiters and hackers, but these issues are not part of the games ruleset so it doesn't count.
The winner is Colony, only because Exit Path is a recycled game (player Platform Racing 2 to so what I mean).
secondly... since when is there an ORIGINAL idea anymore!? and how is it that colony is original!? its just another tsrategy game. takes to long to gather resources, there r no goals to shoot for, people take it to seriously, the beginning of the games r always slow, comapaign is too easy and not long enough with VERY little story, all u do is make buildings and clicks. whoopee. current score: Exit Path-4 Colony-3

Starcraft was an INSPIRATION for Colony, but Colony is by NO MEANS a starcraft rip-off (Code Geass was also an inspiration, does that make Colony a Code Geass rip-off too?). That would be like saying that every RTS flash game you find is a starcraft rip-off, which is totally ridiculous.
I will have to say that exit path and platform racing 2 are very simiar, HOWEVER, exit path isn't completely a rip-off either. Exit path is based less on stats, items, and user-created maps, and more on skill, reflexes, and avoiding obstacles.
I find the rest of YOS's points valid, except I do believe that exit path's music suits its theme.

And Code Geass is an anime. I'm pretty sure that Krin said that it was an inspiration for colony either in the armorgames description, or on newgrounds. For example, sakata mkll's use hadron cannons for antiair, and some knightmares in Code Geass also use hadron cannons.
1st of all that johnmchall cat should NOT be counted his points were weak his logic was weak i stressed the point of being fair to both sides and made a good arguement second if u want to say colony is NOT original in wat way is exit path original? WHOOPEEEEE ANOTHER RACINGGGGGG GAME wow like there arent 5 MILLION ALREADY...... that is wat i could say to that my good sir...... i ask that johnmchall not be counted for the simple fact his points are easily beat and his logic was... out an out lame.
honestly ep is very fun buttttt.... colony just has that lv of addictive-ness(...if thats a word) that will have u playing for monthssssssss.... today was only like the second time i played ep lol it just doesnt have that lv of addicition... dont get me wrong it'll have u for.. an hour.. maybe 2 but COLONY.....hours turn into days days to weeks... weeks to months and so on.
In my opinion, it's the addictiveness of the fast pace that makes people keep going back to exit path, while its the community and the people that you know that bring you back to colony.
