Chapter 1: Poor Wilfred
As the new recruit cadet Wilfred from the basic human divion was preparing for his first watch duty anxiously, a veteran retiring to the barracks laughed at the cadet and said what he looked so happy about. "What are you looking so pleased about getting a chance to stand guard duty in full armor and with your longsword at your side is pooring rain for hours on end with nothing to do?" The new cadet stared blanchly at the veteran and wondered for the first time if watch duty could be as dull as the veteran made it seem for he had dreams of beating off dragons and goblins and protecting the civilized world.
In a few hours while watching from the gates the young cadet had somehow managed to fall asleep against the walls watching the forest when out of nowhere a enraged Sgt took his spear and was about to smack it against the drowsing cadets face and give him a talking down as well as a few whips for breaking a law, when arrows, hunks of rocks and ablazed pieces of wood came flying everywhere. The Wilfred got awakened to the sound of warning bells and patrols pitiful screams as rocks and poisoned barbed tipped arrows hit them. Excitedly he thought a chance for action and leaped up just to fall back down when the Sgt tumbled onto him with an arrow protruding from his neck. Rolling the the whimpering Sgt aside he leaped up and grabbed his sword. He glanced across at the wilderness to see an assortment of armies charging the wall. Barbariens, trolls, goblins, orcs, orgres, hell spawn demons, and other creatures he couldn't recongnize. He glanced down to the a grapling hook, hook against the the walls. He saw a lean, mean ugly goblins scrambling up the wall. Wilfred raised his sword and for the first time realized he would be killing another soul. Someone just like himself. Save the fact that the goblins were green skinned and ugly as hell. Just as the goblin was scrambling over the edge and grabbing a dagger a veteran pushed Wilfred out of the way and slashed the goblins throat. The veteran then hit Wilfred with the hilt of his sword and was screaming at him "are you stupid that thing would've killed you without a seconds moment of hesit... ARRGH," the veteran groaned as an orc hit him over the head with a war hammer. The young recruit dived out of the way as another blow was aimed at him. Foolishly closing his eyes to avoid watching the orc die, the young cadet thrust his sword at the orc just to have at easily deflected. The next moment Wilfred's whole left army was burning with unbelievable pain and looked to see his armed and elbow smashed to bits by the war hammer. The sneering orc was about to deliver a fateful blow to the cadet when he was ironically skewered by a piece of rocks that the invaders were hurling over by catapaults. That was all young Wilfred saw before he blacked out from pain.
The next time Wilfred woke up he awakened inside the punishment square of the camp inside a cage. The cadet had nearly blacked out again because of the pain, but what he saw nearly made him forget about the intense pain. He saw to his horror the whole camp being burnt. The hospital was ablazed with a few archers shooting some arrows at some nurses and doctors trying to run away. He saw men being beat, roasted alive, burnt alive, being killed in cold blood, young maids and nurses being beaten and being taken by force. The gates were opened and two big orcs fully grown orcs with two horns on it's head grabbed the young Wilfred and for pleasure started beating him with their fists, feet, and rocks. After they were done this they simply slit his throat.
Now with the defenses inbetween the wilderness and the civilized world all but shattered and in heavy retreat the road was open to the civilized world, with nothing to stop them save a few heros.

I don't know when I'm going to continue this story or if I will. Or where I'm going with this.
I like all feed back. Good or bad. Except for things like: this sux. I need reasons why.
