So It's my last year at school and I have always wanted to be in the defence force even if I do not make a career I think I will gain some life skill from it and the starting wage is great if I want to save some money for University. So here comes the questions
Have you ever served or even thought about serveing and if so how far did you go? Did you gain life skills? Did you enjoy it? Most defence forces are different but they all generally have the same core structure.
No. You do, most of the training received in the armed forces can prepare for the basics in most civilian industries. After that it just takes a little college time. Can't answer that.
If there was a branch of the military to go to, I would have chosen the Air Force. They have a great pre-med program there, plus has the most money to spend. The Navy has the most money, but the Air Force has more money to spend on more than just equipment.
In Greece there is mandatory military service, hence i will join the army -probably- in 3-4 years right after (or before) my degree. I have enlisted in the navy, because I don't like the land force.
I suppose you gain life skills.
I am considering if I cannot find a job as an economist in the private sector becoming a Finance Guard. Its a police force which retains military status, ergo it is part of the Italian Armed Forces.
hi i live in a country where you HAVE to join the army after 12th grade... anyway id rather go streight to college if it was posibble but its not. i cant really say what you can gain but as long as you fell good about it i think you should do it. personally i dont want to join but thats just me. hope youl make the decision you really want to
No, I am not in the military nor do I plan on becoming a member of the Armed Forces. But if there was a threat to National Security (Like In COD MW2 Wolverines...not saying that's likely to happen), I would arm myself and try to help.
If my country needs me to defend it from a threat, then I will fight for it. However I would never fight a war for simple profit. Diplomacy is always an option.
