If you have a smartphone/tablet that uses apps. I was wondering has having that particular gadget curb your use of your portable gaming system, like a PSP, DS, Gameboy, etc. I know when I bought my iPhone I didn't buy DS or PSP games or those UMD movies. Now that I've gotten into emulatation I've bought a portable device for emulating SNES/NES games and such. Playing Sonice Advance isn't fun with no buttons.
I have a dumb phone that plays really lousy games, so of course I use my DS
I don't see how those cheaply made 5 second games that people download on their iCrap actually compete with real handheld games and systems but they actually do. People just don't like well made products anymore. They want cheap fast entertainment.

Dude, I agree that the PSP has by far the best handheld graphics, but the Iphone has good games too.
My iPod which is basically an iPhone in gaming sense. Has some good game but alot of them are really bad are not long enough. I DS is about 1000 times better for gaming.
On the iPhone, games like Angry Birds and Cut the Rope are always going to be fun minigames, but there are some games that actually compete with portable gaming, such as Graal (I LOVE GRAAL XD).
